As with most of its peers in this class, it has one lens. Depending on how far away the lens is from the eyepiece, the magnification is different. Putting the bottom element directly on the eyepiece gives you about 1x. If you unscrew the bottom element, it's about 3x. The magnification of the microscope can be altered by using different spacers. There is approximately one inch of clearance when using a 7mm spacer. The barlow size is 68x.

There was no problem with the barlow lens and the filter lens made it easy to view the details of the moon. Using a 23 mm lens on my cheap refractor telescope, I was able to make out mountains and craters on the southern pole of the moon very clearly.
Instead of buying the whole set, buy this. Celestron 6e is what I use it with. This is good quality for a beginner or intermediate user.
It seems to be a mismatch between this and another product I purchased at the same time. I think the other mismatch may be from the other product.
It's hard to find anything to dislike about these lenses, they're great in quality.
Great Barlow lens, and at a reasonable price too.
