What is the connection between the Sony a6000 and this?

I am sorry, but the Sony A6000 does not have a microphone A better option would be to purchase A stereo microphone like the XYST1M can actually record just as well or even better than the XYST1M. Both of them belong to me and I can vouch for their authenticity.

As my videomic go (which I have before) picks up a lot of interference, this should be the case. It has even been said that the only way to eliminate the interference is to either turn off the Wi-Fi or to turn the router off completely If your phone doesn't have a battery, turn it off, turn on Wi-Fi, or put it in airplane mode.

The sound source (large speakers for a dance performance) should be about 30ft away. Will it work from that distance?

In order to maximize the quality of sound, this mic should be between the subject and the microphone. It would be best to be between 3 and 8 feet away from the speaker to pick up a clear recording

Years ago, I had one of these mics and I still use it today. They are great mics. Even though the modified mounting is better than the old band system, the fact that it sticks out does not make it very portable. It is always a worry for me to crush it. Although I have yet to break it, I've been trying for a while. Although the mic is small and compact, the sound quality is adequate. In general, I use it as a rough outline Using a reference mic for audio syncing or roll sound is also an option. For quality sound for interviews, I would not recommend it if you are not seated very close to the subject.

It is a great tool when used correctly
4/5

My plan was to use it with my Canon 80D and bought and returned this microphone (Rode VideoMic Pro R). As well as the VideoMicro, which I kept instead, I have the Rode VideoMicro. The pros are ** - Using a self-powered condenser mic and boost switch allowed me to turn down the volume on my camera, so there was less noise being introduced from my pre-amplifier There are AMPs. ** - Its pickup pattern is tighter as compared to the Rode VideoMicro, which means less ambient noise is picked up
- The shock mount is great for removing any unwanted noise created when handling the camera** *Cons ** - My only complaint about the microphone is that it seems a bit big to me. A new version of the Rycote Lyre mount is a tad longer and wider than the previous one. ** - It comes with an included windscreen, but it is very ineffective and does not fulfill the same functions as the dead cat in the VideoMicro. The dead cat will also add size to this if you intend to use it outside. You will need to buy this separately if you plan to use it outside. ** - In spite of the cleaner and hotter signal, I still found that even when I had a low-quality signal After adding a cut filter to the sound, it was a tad too muddy. If you are going to record music or something that requires good bass response, this is the microphone If, like me, you are going to record vocals only, I found the VideoMicro to have more shimmer and brightness to it that lent well to bringing out the clarity of ** - Battery power has the benefit of a stronger signal, but also the disadvantage of carrying an extra one in case you lose it. As a conclusion There is no doubt that this is a wonderful mic and it certainly obtains a richer, and more detailed range of sounds than the VideoMicro, but for vocals it was a bit muffled. I chose to use the VideoMicro because, despite the additional cost and size, it was satisfactory for the work I planned on doing. If you are trying to decide whether this mic is right for you, I hope that this review will assist you to make your decision.

In fact, yes
5/5

Below is a video we used to do a recording. Then, add this In fact, yes. happy with how things turned out. As they say, that's what it is. It is basically what I got if you go onto youtube and test and review it. As an Audi enthusiast for 25 years, I consider myself a verterian. This is not the same as my three thousand dollar tube mike, but by far it does its job enough. It is a way to capture people talking in a way that makes it sound like they are in a studio**Btw, the battery is necessary in order to bypass the camera mic preamp. The reason it's so clean is because it's so fresh. In order to record some sound effects with it, I need to buy a sound card. It's just too much to bear.

That sounds awesome, as long as you know exactly what you are doing
5/5

The 7-inch screen worked only when I used it After inserting the 24 volt battery, it became quite difficult.

After a bit of thought, I removed the RODE foam cover for the mic, revealing the battery mount area to the fullest extent. had done that, I was able to put the battery in and close the door with no problem. Unfortunately, this is the easiest way to deal with it, but it's hardly the worst thing that could happen. As a result, I had to dial down the gain on my Nikon D850 to about 8 in order to eliminate the hiss (leave the attenuation setting on), and then ramp the RODE to +20. The sound was excellent, clearly audible when heard from a distance of 10 feet There were ceiling fans running along with central air blowing in a room 15 feet away from me -- Especially good was the fact that the fan and air sounds were not picked up by It muted the sound sources from behind and to the side well in my testing. I think it's a good mic, excellent for the price. No, you won't be able to hear people talking from 50 feet away - but it works nicely in the office. Purchasing a wireless system will serve you well if this is your objective. You can, however, do it within 20 minutes if you wish With a range of 30 feet, it can be used.

Powered by a 9V battery, this mic boasts a great sound
5/5

Now that I have this mic, I am very happy with it. My initial reaction was totally opposite, since the information I saw above and the videos I watched before purchasing led me to believe that the mic has I do not believe so. In a subsequent reading, it was recommended that 2 AA batteries be used. I tried that and it didn't work. If you have any questions, you can visit the official Rode website. They will have all the information you need. The instructions clearly state that a 9v battery should be used. As I said, I tried it and it worked. There is a bit of a challenge in closing the battery door, which is why I gave it a lower star rating I had no problems closing the battery door once I got the door shut. There is a really good sound quality here. Video recordings of each setting were taken using a video camera. In spite of some background noise from the air conditioner, my voice was clear and I was able to remove some of it. It is the best mic I have ever used. What you get is really cheap for what you pay. report that my sound quality issues have been resolved with this mic.
