You will need a microphone jack for audio and if you are planning to use it on a Macbook, you will also want to pick out something that makes sense and are more affordable while still offering good audio like the Blue Yetti Mic or Blue Snowball.
The answer is yes. Outside, I've used it as a tripod with my camera quite a bit. I don't mind the distance as long as it is close to the topic
It is 25 feet long and has a 32 ratio of female to male. Connect a headset or stereo through the 5mm (stereo) The goal is to get the extension running in Rode mic 3. It's basically to run the extension from the Build. A 5mm cable connected to the boom mic stand can be used to connect to the camera (up to 25 feet away).

Then, add this Shipping was fast and everything arrived in working order. I made a video that shows how everything looked after unboxing, setting up, and testing the microphone.
Using RODE mics for the first time was an interesting experience. In some of the reviews I read and viewed, people complained that some of their microphones gave off an awful background/white noise. Hey, I had a $30 microphone, surely the nearly $200 RODE setup would be a better choice! That's not right! Having no prior experience in this area, I spent three months trying to figure out what I was doing wrong, and why my audio sounded so bad with the There was absolutely nothing I could have done that would have helped at all I feel like this certainly doesn't do anything for me except frustrate me, waste time, and give me a sense of dejection. Two days ago, I went to see After switching back to the $30 mic, I decided to keep it. We were all surprised to see that all our sound issues had disappeared. It is this microphone that is causing the problem. I would not recommend buying it!.
The environment can be particularly challenging in some cases. You get a lot of stuff for such a good price. I believe that the RODE video mic suffers from the same problem as other video mics, namely, picking up excessive background noise and room noise, not to mention a lack of base when listening to voices recorded with it. In order to achieve satisfactory results, it is necessary to compress the audio heavily and work on the voices. For example, when you use it to capture an event or ambient noise, it should work fine as long as you keep in mind that when you use it for YouTube videos or Vlogs, the audio may not be so great depending on the environment. During recording, the outside noise can be heard as a low hum throughout the whole recording. While we do Vlogs in the car, we pick up a lot of wind noise (windows close) and other distortion that really results in low quality audio. This is still leagues better than using no mic at all, but just be warned that you're not going to get cinematic quality audio out of it. If you need deep tones and deep base, you might be better off using a cheap lav mic. It's still possible to use a mic like this at a certain time and place. I like RODE products.
It was purchased so I could create Youtube videos in the style of talking. There is only a very short extension of the boom, which doesn't work well for video production, especially when the mic must be out of the shot but overhead. On top of that, this set does not include a battery, which makes it difficult to use it on the day of a If you want to use this kit, you should purchase a larger boom separately. The mic is a good mic, but the rest of the kit is completely unreliable. However, I threw out the packaging, so I would like to return it.
It is useless for me since the mic does not fit inside my camera's microphone hole, so I cannot use it.
I was able to track my delivery thanks to Melissa who was super helpful. Her quick response and genuine concern made me feel really grateful for her quick response as it was UPS that caused the problem. I gave this equipment 4 stars because I was unaware that I needed an adapter cable for my iPhone. The equipment is very well made, especially considering the price. Prior to making my purchase, I conducted a great deal of research and not all of the information was as readily available as I would have liked. In any case, the adapter was $10 on Amazon, and for this price I am very happy.
You should buy. Here it is. It's a microphone! After watching a lot of YouTube videos recommending it, I bought this microphone. My videos had strange audio in the background (people talking, country music) when I uploaded them A microphone was using radio signals as a receiver. After running around the city, testing every possible cord (I don't know much about electronics, so I called some music stores) and STILL having issues, I realized the problem was the mic itself, and not the extension cord. I have wasted so much time and money on this stupid thing.
It has a lousy stand. It was really disappointing to see the stand. With the arm extended to full height, there is a bend on the top portion if a microphone rests on the arm more than half way up. I started using the scanner 3 hours after setting it up and it immediately began warping. However, Mic is a great program!.
