Questions & Answers

Could you please recommend a microphone stand that is suitable for this mic?

A Tripod Boom Microphone Stand from On Stage Stands for $24 each. With today's low prices, you can get this stand for less than 90 bucks on Amazon. My understanding is that there is an adjustable adapter included with the RODE.

Would anyone be able to tell me what the main differences are between this NT-2 and the slightly cheaper (yet slightly higher rated) NT-1?

NT2A is the one I own. There is no condenser mic I have. It is very versatile and is great to record with. This is the perfect device to record at home. As someone who does not own the NT1A, I can recommend it for both its versatility and quality of sound.

I'm here. Are there any theories as to how this mic should behave when used with a classical nylon guitar? It would be nice to enhance my nylon string guitar with a mic. ?

My own has a very good reproduction of instruments and I found it to be very useful for recording a concert band. The recorder most likely would reproduce the sound of your classical nylon guitar, but I have no knowledge of how guitars are recorded. It's unclear what's going to sound closest to this, but a clarinet probably sounds great with this Mike, and our clarinet section sounds terrific with it. I hope someone with experience recording guitars can reply If you're referring to an acoustic recording, that's what I assume you're talking about. This is probably your Mike, if that's the case.

The mic I use most often
5/5

Mics of this quality are hard to find. This is exactly what was As described, audio is crystal clear when I record, and depending on what setting I use, the sound will be different. I am a recording artist and I am having fun with this. Getting this one is a good idea if you can afford it. Wow! I'm blown away!.

It's amazing to hear this mic
5/5

In an effort to do voice-overs professionally, this product was purchased. The sound we have gotten from this mic is very rich and sweet. This was achieved by connecting the right signal chain. At this price point, this is a great microphone! I am considering buying one for myself to use.

I have the following RODES A package comprising 2 items
5/5

I consider this to be the best buy in my entire microphone collection for less than $400. This is Arsenal. The sound quality is superb, and the shock mount and pop filter are of high quality. A major benefit of this program is the multi-patterning and hi-pass filtering. A mic is comparable to this. Almost twice what the buyer paid for the product.

From a small entry-level mic, this is a big upgrade
5/5

A little piece of history I own a recording studio, and this mic stands up to its The result has been excellent for many vocalists. The quality of this mic is much higher than that of an entry level microphone. may find there is a bit too much high end on these, especially in the female vocals, but this can be easily fixed with an EQ. This is one of the best mics I have ever used.

This is a go-to In Mic's direction
5/5

This is a very good Construction of solid materials. This response is flat and nice. In terms of sound quality, this mic is a great buy for the price. It produces a balanced reproduction of high frequencies. A stellar microphone for the lower-frequency range Price point related to the mid-range budget.

On my tone of voice, I use this. The microphone has a great sound. This is a recording tool I use quite often. It is hard to find a better deal for the money. On our YouTube channel, we even use these for our vocals. The microphone is a great buy if you're looking for great sound for a great price.
