It is important to note that most of the items sold here are more expensive than at the DJI store. In fact, DJI sells its items here for a higher price than from its own store.

That's not good. When plugged into a MacBook, this DJI adapter is not recognized by macOS. Despite what you may have heard, do As it seems, it would work, but I assume OSMO, and any device other than Mac, would not work with this adapter!

Pocket thought it was a wireless module based on the price and what I bought on Wish. The price is high, but they knew when they priced it that it was necessary. There's nothing wrong with the internal audio on the OP, but this upgrade takes it to a whole new level. This match up beautifully with the Movo shotgun mic and the cheap Alcoon mic holder, and I couldn't It is a must have if you use the Pocket often. Also get the Alcoon phone holder (cheap and metal), a cheap microphone (Moto has natural sound, better than most less expensive ones), and of course, Despite the great quality of the aperture M9, the Viltrox has a much better quality. It is bi-lingual The light can be dimmed and is color-accurate. Although it is not a small camera, its output is astonishing for its price. And with that, you have a good camera I wonder if DJI milked their customers a bit on this, maybe because the Osmo wasn't a big hit like they expected it to be and they put this up as more refined than a gopro, which it is, but their accessories are too expensive. Nevertheless, I'll take this setup any day of the week over a DSLR or a phone/gimble setup any day of the week. This is a faster, easier, and much more dynamic system. It's worth just one time investment, so buy it once, keep it safe, and enjoy the results. You should also get Polar Pro standard lenses. Spend your money on the silver ones instead of the I'd like to point out that the Wide Angle Freewell Lens is not optional at all.
As a result of updating my OSMO Pocket already, I had the newest According to the proverb, the devil is in the details and the user manual booklet in this case is the perfect example. The fine print literally requires a magnifier glass to read. It is ring-shaped The mic must be connected to the shield) connector in order It is ring-shaped It is ring-shaped Once you have the shield) connected, you should install an adapter to convert it to a TRS female connector to ensure it works. My initial test was performed with a R0DE Smart Lav+ and a TRRS to TRS adapter. On my display, I saw a message about an OSMO adapter being plugged in when I plugged in the adapter. During testing I saw a three bar gauge appear in the upper right hand corner of the screen while using the Lav mic. A smartphone was attached to it as well, but I hoped it would be a little bigger.
As a result of the lav not working with the adapter for 99% of the time, I was only able to record about 1% of audio. My first thought was the Lav-cpuld, but I tested on my Zoom F1 and it works with no problems. Next was my Shotgun mic, and while it worked about half the time, it continued to fail as soon as you stopped talking. Reconnect and don't stop talking was the only way to get audio back. I'm very disappointed in this.
The system works, though. Since this is the only adapter I've found that will fit the Pocket Osmo (PO), it's a bit of a shame since it's an overpriced item compared to other OEM adapters and Despite my reluctance to buy it, it does what it's supposed to do, and I give it four stars overall, but the design feels like a miscalculation with the bottom sticking out so far. I would have preferred something more like the wifi module, or even something integrated into the wifi module to make it more stable. It looks as if it was made for something else because this is the only PO adapter I have ever seen. I really like the PO and I'm on board with DJI's modular approach, but at the very least I wish we could make it work with the wifi module because currently we have to use Surely DJI should have made another mic adapter that fits into the data port of the controller wheel (with or without a slot for the controller wheel port), as if you have the wifi module on you can use your smartphone to control the gimbal and plug in It's not too late to get the PO back, given that she's not been in office There is a good chance that this will not be In the unlikely event that there is a PO2 (it might be a long shot given the success of Osmo Actions electronic stabilization) please make it compatible with the PO accessories.
As of yesterday, I don't know if it's real or fake DJI product? It seems to work (sort of) — As I tested it, it was able to record video from a RODE videomicro, but the audio was very quiet. This could be due to some mistake I made in the DJI settings, so I'm not drawing any conclusions yet. Once I've had a chance to play with it more and test it out, I'll post an update. One of the key reasons I think it's a fake is because it doesn't look like this image. Three of the five cylinders are not connected to any metal ring/collar. I'm not sure what a 5" plug is made of ( it's plastic and looks rough) and the photos do not show ND filters on this particular plug. The adapter itself looks cheap, so I think that could be just deceptive advertising. The following has been updated The piece I received looks different (cheaper) and it obviously is misleading with the inclusion of ND filters in their photos, so I cannot give it 5 stars. However, I have changed my rating to a 4 (from a 2). Moreover, I am not at all certain if it is real or fake.
It has a R*de Microphone connector which I use to connect a microphone. There is no problem with the audio. I'm sorry if you were hoping to use this with The Osmo pocket wireless module, but I can't guarantee compatibility. If the wireless adapter is connected to it, it does not function. It was a real missed opportunity for DJI to have missed Aside from that review, this headphone is a must-have for anyone who has an osmo pocket and wants It is apparent that if you are reading reviews for this product, then you already know how terrible the built-in mic on the Osmo pocket is.
There is one thing I dislike about it I had to pay for I find this to be one of those things which you would expect to be provided with They know you will need it, so you pay for it in advance. Having learned from past experiences, be careful about being There are a lot of knock-offs that do not work or inject noise into the audio, this one actually For such a small device, the onboard audio is all right, but a wired mic is what you're going to need to get the real sound. Purchase it once, keep it safe, and keep the Osmo close to where you keep it, and you will receive the results you are looking for. I've found that I enjoy my camera a little more when I do that.
