You can use it with a lot of ease. YouTubers who are thinking of running for a microphone should consider this. This rig has a gun and a couple of guns. I'm sure you talk a lot to the camera behind the lens if you're like me. Rode is more expensive than Deity, and Deity is a light year ahead. Having researched deeply, this mic is far superior to both the Rode Micro and the Rode.

As much as I hoped that the mic would pick up something, it did not. Perhaps I just got a dud, but to even pick up a faint sound, I had to crank the gain up to 11. The noise floor of all my audio went up because of that, and it was not usable. In order to get a good signal from it, I tried different devices. I have a Zoom H6, a DSLR, and even an interfacing device from Steinberg. I don't know what to do with it. Buyer beware regardless, as I might just have got a dud.

You tubers on the top of the page sold me on that. I use this mic for all my vlogs. The first time I used it, I was so excited. The wind was only 2 miles per hour in multiple areas when we went outside I could hear a lot of noise when the deadcats were on because it was 4 mph outside. There is a supposedly fast 15mph speed rating for this. Make sure to stay away from the wind unless it is perfect for blogging outside. I find this mic to be a joke. You may just need a different brand of deadcats, but I shouldn't have to buy a different brand of deadcat.

Using it for the YouTube channel that includes my dog is quite handy. In addition to picking up front and rear sound, the Deity provides excellent stereo imaging. Besides being able to speak clearly, the microphone is so good that it can pick up my dog's sighing.

The product is easy to use and sold. A good sound can be heard. I just have a warning to give. You can use both from and back mics at the same time. In your editor, you have to make adjustments.
