It was an excellent solution. The light was a powerful studio led light. No issues.
There's no problem. Tripods aren't necessary.
These are what I use to mount cameras on c-stands with ball heads. Posts for standing. They are well-made and long-lasting.
I built a new car. The setup for the pole studio is ideal. The strobe I've mounted is a workhorse, and mounting it to my Manfrotto auto pole 2 was a breeze. These extension arms allowed the setup to function exactly as I had envisioned.
So cool!.
A Manfrotto Superclamp extension of 6" in length. It's made of solid cast metal (possibly aluminum) that doesn't flex, and the brass pin has both 1/4- and 1/2-inch threads. Male threads with a diameter of 20 and 3/8". With a small fluid head and a DSLR attached to it, it feels secure and safe.
This is an excellent 1/4-inch extension. 20 3/8" x 20" x 20" x 20" x 20 16 parts.
Note: The hex end is devoid of a threaded hole. Because it's made of aluminum, drilling and tapping a 3/8" hole is simple. 16 if you're in need of one, as I was.
