No, it doesn't have a female thread, Schreurs, but one of your local machine shops should be able to tap it for you.
It should work with any Godox or Profoto flash at the very least.
It's a standard size pin, so I expect it to work.
The connector is a 5/8" female connector with a 5/8" male pin. Many studio lights have a 5/8" connection size, and you can buy adapters if yours does not. A clamp on the stand should be able to hold this pin in place. The light would be secured at the bottom end, as shown in the Amazon image. The c-clamp is clamped on the other end. stand.

This is a baby pin that is meant to be used with a grip head. Because of the 7/8" stop collar, it will not fit in most 5/8" receivers. The construction is robust—heavy-duty chromed steel—and strong enough to be used as a railroad spike; however, because this is a basic design, it lacks a threaded socket and a security cable hole. If you don't torque it all the way down, the 7/8" stop collar will keep it from sliding out of the grip head. With a six-inch protrusion from the grip head, it's easy to attach most lights and modifiers. Some of my other pins are only five inches long, and the extra inch makes it a little easier to install in the grip and attach lights. If I were to design the ideal grip pin, it would be six inches long, like this Avenger, but with 3/8" threaded sockets, a security cable hole, and a textured tip like Kupo pins. Nothing is perfect, but this Avenger does an excellent job of nailing the fundamentals: It's dependable, heavy-duty, and it's great at holding video lights.
This pin is incredibly heavy and solid. That's it! I completed the task!.
(Updated) I have Matthews C- in my possession. I ordered two of these baby pins from Stands. Avenger is now my go-to for anything pin-related, including baby pin plates, wall plates, 90 degree plates, and so on. I first ordered one, and after receiving it and seeing the quality, I immediately ordered a second, and now a third.
You can rest assured that your lights will not fall if you use these.
I'm a huge fan of these pins. This is the third time I've done something like this. I ordered one to test it out, and then I had to order more after that. It's sturdy and well-made.
A pin that is both simple and perfect.
For my studio lights, this is ideal. Very strong.
