Questions & Answers

What is the largest pip diameter that this clamp can handle?

Greetings, friendbr>Your message has been received. This clamp has a 54mm maximum opening diameter. I hope this clarifies things for you.br>Do you have any additional questions? Please contact us if you have any questions or need further information. br>Thank you for your time and consideration.

Is this item compatible with the generic mic holder?

Of course it's appropriate! It has a 5/8-inch thread size, which is standard for most microphone stands, holders, and accessories. br>I hope this information is useful to you in making your purchase. This is a very useful clamp.

If you're going to use it with a conga rim, here's what you need to know. Is this clamp able to sit on a conga rim without rattling, based on your experience?

It all boils down to the rim's structure. There is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all solution. If your rim is compatible with the clamp, it will tighten very tightly.

Is it possible to use this with an Innogear mic boom arm?

Yes. It's where I keep my boom. It's a universal clamp that can be used in a variety of applications. I also secure my microphone to the kick bass's rim. Keep your hands firmly in place.

The product is extremely well-made and designed
5/5

It is a good deal. More adaptable than the description suggests. I've used similar mic clamps from other manufacturers, but this is by far the best design, as it's compact and well-made. Surprisingly, one of the best features of this mic clamp is not highlighted in the product photos or descriptions: The threaded portion of the Camvate clamp (where your microphone clip or boom arm mounts) can be moved around. In practice, this means you'll be able to use the microphone. mount a portion of the threads in one of two 90-degree positions, allowing you to screw your microphone clip onto either the narrow (end) or the longer (clamp) side of the Camvate- This could be either parallel or perpendicular to the current floor. This is especially useful when securing goose-necked clothing. Using the Camvate, connect a microphone's neck or boom arm to a different microphone stand. I intend to purchase a number of these in the future.

One significant flaw in the design – Instead, go for the articulated clamp! This clamp is small, strong, and can grip just about anything
3/5

br>br>However, there is a major flaw that I'm surprised no one has pointed out: When screwing something on to the main post (like a microphone clip), you can only tighten it one way. Because there is no clutch to change the direction of the post, the only way I can make my clip point in a different direction is to use tape to keep it from swiveling, which defeats the purpose of using a clip. br>br>Instead of returning this, I'm going to purchase the articulated clamp. It appears to be the same as the previous model, but with the addition of a clutch for changing directions. Unless you have a microphone that is always fixed on something and you never need to move it, I'm not sure how useful this clamp is.

Little clamp with a lot of uses
5/5

This CAMVATE Crab clamp was purchased to be used with a gooseneck and a small microphone. It does indeed work well: clamps firmly to almost any tube or flat surface with a diameter of 2 inches or less. I can easily move the mic around with a gooseneck. You can also mount a microphone directly on the CAMVATE Crab clamp, but you'll need a standard 5/8" lock nut to secure the mic once it's roamed to the desired position. The threads on the CAMVATE Crab clamp fit cold shoes, ball heads, and lighting accessories, so I believe it was originally designed for photography. As a result, this is a very versatile little clamp. I'll most likely purchase a few more (without the microphone adapter).

Mic, this is a lifesaver for your camera! It takes a little fiddling to get the Mic to point in the direction you want it to, but other than that - it's great
5/5

It's fantastic! The clamp has a nice feel to it as you secure it, and it allows you to use a boom mic on tripod-mounted cameras. I'd give it a ten out of ten, and I'd buy it again.

You can get the feeling that you're a nut from time to time
4/5

The clamp is fantastic - I highly recommend it. The design and construction of the product are excellent. However, a nut for the 5/8"-inch hole should be included. There are 27 threads for microphones. Otherwise, you'll have to screw your mic clamp down until it stops turning, at which point you'll be stuck. You can try again with the small threaded rod, but it's a tedious trial-and-error process. and-error process that could be solved with the same nut that comes with every traditional mic stand, which is a pain because buying these separately on Amazon costs nearly as much as the clamp itself, despite the fact that it's only a nut.

Just what I was looking for
5/5

Unfortunately, I was unable to locate one of these immediately. You'd think finding them would be simple. I used to have one of a different design, and I assumed they should be available in any music store, but they weren't. This was instrumental in saving the situation. I can now use the same stand for my guitar or mandolin mic and my vocal mic. It simplifies things and reduces the amount of junk that needs to be transported. I frequently lack the space, time, or strength to transport additional items to the stage. The game is all about getting down and dirty.

This is a useful, well-designed tool
5/5

created a clamp This is a high-quality clamp that can be used to mount a mic clip on a variety of surfaces (including the rim of a drum). A thin layer of rubber is used to cushion the jaws. such as material that protects the object being clamped to while also reducing the risk of slipping (on a mic stand, for example). The mic clip's collar is also attached to a short 1/4-inch threaded rod. The size of a camera mount is 20.

I'm a professional audio system tuner who travels the world calibrating systems, and this is an excellent tool to have
5/5

Mic stands are the heaviest and most difficult to transport item. I can travel with a couple of stands plus a couple of clamps and will solve 95% of the situations with these and will solve 95% of the situations with these and will solve% They're sturdy, and the Microphone can be placed in three different places within the clamp. I have no reservations in recommending it.
