Questions & Answers

In portraiture, it is the softer light (and shadows) that is obtained Would you say that it was the magsphere that bounced?

The magnetic field

Is it possible to use this with Godox v860ii-S Can you see it?

With the Godox V860II flash, MagGrip Base (used in conjunction with MagSphere) is compatible.

Although I bought it for my godox tt600, it is too large for the camera. Does it have to be returned? If you have any solutions, please let me know. ?

The best thing to do would be to return it and get another This would prove to be a hassle in the long run if the fit is wrong.

What do I do if I want to shoot through the umbrella instead of this? Turn the sun off when it's bright I am using a camera that has a f/11 setting Does your family have a formal ?

You can, but you should keep in mind that the light will be different when you use an umbrella, instead of soft directed light, you will have a lot of wasted light.

Across the sphere, the light is in perfect balance
4/5

This attachment is a much-needed addition to the wireless strobe or any flash mounted on a camera. I think it is the best modifier that I've used so far. I like how even and soft the light is. As soon as I got home from my trip overseas, I folded it up and put it in I took it out and it immediately bounced back to its original shape and was ready to go back to Here are a few things to keep in mind This is B1. Your flash or strobe would need to be attached to the magnetic black strap for this to function. There is no way you can use this item right after buying 3.
This is an extremely expensive camera, and adding the black rubber band for the flash made it an investment rather than a mere 1. 2. The items similar to mine that I saw on eBay claimed they have the same dimensions, therefore might be able to clip onto the magnetic rubber strap on the flash, but I never tried them. Those items cost much less than this one. Item 4. A lot of people don't know how to properly place the sphere on a The easiest way to align the sphere is when it is immediately attached to the magnets, rather than trying to align it after the magnets have already been attached. It is possible to break your flash unit off your camera, or even drop it. Likewise, removing the sphere from the flash is the same process. Instead of pulling straight, and away from the flash, you need to do it 90 degrees to the side in order to break the magnetic connection. Note 1. 2. I find it a pain in the neck to place the rubber strap onto the flash and remove it It's a good thing, and I'm glad of it. With this attachment, you can walk with the camera and not have the sphere fall off. This was the reason behind my purchase of two straps, despite the high price. Neither of them is plugged in when I shoot with them.

I never had any problems with the sphere, but I can see how it might be too front heavy when it is attached to a strobe that is on a stand. There is no doubt that image quality in terms of even light is excellent. This is something I highly recommend. The price seems outrageous for what it is. That is why I gave it four stars. Then, I would like to buy two of $20 each rather than one of.

It is obvious now that I've combed through the page that the MagGrip was required
4/5

As soon as I purchased the sphere, I assumed it was ready to use. There's no obvious place to post that, I'm not sure why it's not posted. It would be nice if there was a bundle kit with just those two things. Unfortunately, I will have to pay $75 for magnets and silicone. I decided to buy it so I can't return it, but the initial $50 charge was disappointing when I actually got it. The design is great and it works great, but I feel like it cost $10 to manufacture it. In spite of all that, it's well-made!.

Easily softens a direct flash and far better than any diffuser built into the flash
5/5

I can think of no built-in diffuser that can do this. Using the camera outside for portrait work was especially useful. Even though I am sure a low enough ceiling would also be helpful to bounce the flash down on your subject. Also, do know that there is another version that diffuses the flash out broadly in situations where there is no That's why I bought them Although I shoot in auto mode most of the time, I suppose manual flash adjustments are trial and error, which is perfectly normal regardless of how or when In my case, I do use a portable off-the-shelf unit A bracket for mounting a flash on a camera. In spite of this, you require an accessory mounting device, which is also sold by this company. I'd recommend the combination kit if you ask me. It is also worth noting that the entire rig is heavy enough to cause your flash to lose its ability to adjust its angle. The Fujifilm flash on my camera is either pointed straight up or straight down, so it does not pose a problem for me. At the end of the day, make sure that you take a look at all the kits this manufacture has to offer, so you can decide which one is best suited to your shooting situation.

Bring the light to the world
4/5

It is nice to see the magsphere. My AD200's benefit from it as I can spread their light across the room. Thus, I always have to account for how much the colors will shift when I take photos in a certain situation. Nonetheless, the quality is excellent. It's a hard nut to crack. I can easily put it.

There was a heavy object on the edge of the lens all night that kept flying off my camera
3/5

If you are going to attach this to your flash, please be careful Keep the flash from being stripped. When it's on, my flash keeps falling forward on its own for a couple of seconds, then this would fly off. *bruno, do We have been selling over $100 for over ten years. It is possible to find a cheaper alternative.

Although, I can't say whether or not the MagShere has better results
5/5

Though I'm not sure if MagShere gets better results than Gary Fong, the MagShere looks cool and is much better designed than the Gary Fong product I used to have. When I first got it, it had one issue which I had to fix. I haven't had any issues since then. Black was the color of the ceiling in the venue where I shot. It was no problem to mount the flash with the MagSphere on a light stand and aim it in the general direction of my subject. The results were very good. On the other hand, I did buy a MagBounce the next day, and that also produced excellent My recommendation is for you to try this product out - it looks cool, works like a champ, and takes up less room in your.

It is a great diffuser
5/5

The photographer is a professional. Magnetically based, very playable, and easily stowed. In my opinion, the only issue with this set is the yellowing, over time, of the rubber at the base where the magnets are located. They remain in great condition when stored properly in the handy bag, with the Pelican case on top. The manufacturer has not contacted me and I've purchased 3 in total. I didn't take any stars off since I didn't contact the manufacturer. The products produced by MagMod are of extremely high quality. As well as small lights, I wish there were more.

A digital camera is a necessary piece of equipment for every photographer! The MagSphere was my first use of this device on a wedding engagement shoot last weekend
5/5

This product has exceeded my expectation without a doubt! My umbrella and soft box will stay at home from now on because I love how lightweight it is. Purchase of the light modifier was the best decision I've ever made!.
