When used in conjunction with the Godox S-Series, the result is a powerful combination. The R1 Adapter allows me to use a round head diffuser with my non-round head diffuser. round head speedlites, as well as my AD200s, for which I will not pay $79 for the round head attachment. It's not as heavy as other diffusers (especially the Fong brand), and it's not as bulky. Based on my preliminary tests with non-metallic materials, the light spread appears to be excellent. Speedlites from Godox. I haven't yet had the opportunity to try them out with the AD200 Fresnel heads, but I am confident that the results will be satisfactory.
This is a nice addition to the V1N flash. The flash has a magnetic attachment, which I like. It does a good job of diffusing the light, which is especially useful for portraits and sloped or macro shots. It's difficult to fit into a bag. I like that I can get it without having to buy any unnecessary accessories.
People said this thing easily fell out in the reviews I read. In my case, however, this is not the case. I bought the adapter and put it on, and despite my best efforts, it did not fall out. It worked perfectly and I had no problems with it at all. This is something I strongly advise everyone to do.
br>Definitely a good deal for a good tool.
It's very simple to use. I haven't had much opportunity to use it, but I did use it to take a few portrait photos, and it was a breeze to attach it to the Flashpoint Zoom Li-Ion camera. In comparison to the diffuser I use on my Sony HVL-100, when using flash. Flash at F60M. I was able to get my good pictures as I expected because the flash was well diffused. br>br>The product is of good quality and well constructed.
The Democrats have given their approval for the lighting setup. We don't use direct light on our subjects very often, so I only use this if they feel it's necessary. I like the magnets because it means I don't have to worry about the darn thing falling off at the most inconvenient time. It does the job well and I have no complaints.
This dome accessory is great, and I like that I didn't have to buy the entire AKR1 kit to get it. br>br>I've only used it a few times, but I've been very pleased with the results. My on- Camera flash portraits didn't have the harsh look you'd expect, and I didn't test it side by side with and without the dome, so take my word for it.
I bought a couple for my Flashpoint round heads (see photos) because they are lightweight and compact. The magnet connection isn't the strongest, but it keeps them together pretty well all night (at weddings). I'd recommend it!.
