I have two Nikon SB900 flashes with PocketWizard remotes, as well as an off-the-shelf off-the-shelf off-the-shelf off-the-shelf off-the They all fit snugly in a 40L tactical backpack, including a market flash unit with another wireless, four different softboxes, stands, and now these, which I use for portable studio and location lighting setups. The following are some of the reasons why you should purchase a C2 clamp: br>It's more substantial, and the mount is more upright. If you have strip softboxes, you can turn your DSLR flash sideways by putting it up metal. This also makes it possible to secure your flash by shoving it into the clamp with the diffuser cap. For me, the older original unit, which didn't have enough room for a flash and diffuser, was adequate. It worked fine until I started changing the flash units, at which point the clamp clearance became too small. A plate slides out from this S2 unit. And stiff clicks are no longer used to move the adjustment. This is, once again, metal, and when tightened, it holds firm. If necessary, the lever can still ratchet. Simply tighten to your limit, pull the lever outward, and ratchet back and forth. br>br>In addition, mine has two extra 'freebies': Color filters, as well as a stretchy white bounce thingy I'm pretty sure I won't need that, but the gel filters also include a filter storage slip (which is incredibly tight) and a clear insert. Both sides have velcro, one with loops and the other with hooks. And that's a great design for those who have Velcro on their flash units already, because we can just use the side that works. A strip of Velcro for adhesion is also included. Awesome. br>br>I have two 3ft-tall plants. My flashes must go vertical for what I'm shooting, so I'm using long strip soft boxes. With the diffuser in place, I can do that now. I also have 24x24" and 32x32" triangular softboxes, and this design allows me to deploy and store them more easily. br>br>These are twice as heavy as the ones made entirely of plastic. To support the weight, make sure you have sturdy light stands. Don't fall for the low-cost imitations. Your flash units are held in place by light stands. If you can't trust them, your gear will most likely break until you upgrade your stands. And the S2 holder adds a little extra weight to the equation. These have completely satisfied me. One of the original clamps will be used to secure a third light. Now I have a fully functional portable system.

Finally, Godox has released an S-series product. Good-quality bracket that fits the V1 and other speedlights. The good old S- For the other models, the bracket was too tight, and for the AD200 and new V1, it was too small. It has an aluminum base/stand attachment with a brass bushing, so it's sturdy and well-made. It will keep the light from creeping or playing with it. I ordered a number of them to replace the old plastic brackets.

This product, like the rest of the Godox line, does exactly what it says. If your AD200 or speedlights require a Bowens style mount, this is it. It's simple and straightforward to install, and you can then use the same modifiers on your small lights as you would on your studio strobes. br>br>Because there is only one system in the studio, it makes changing modifiers much faster. br>br>Do you have a pressing need for it? No, I doubt it. It will, however, save even the most inexperienced user enough time to pay for itself in a matter of weeks. There's nothing complicated about this; it's just a simple adaptor for making a physical mount. It has a solid feel to it and should be able to withstand normal use. br>br>The included gels were also useful, but they're more of a bonus than something you'd go out of your way to get. Consider it a thoughtful and occasionally practical gesture.

B2). This is a great bracket that fits the Godox AD200 perfectly (unlike the V1 bracket, which forced you to cram the flash into an opening that wasn't quite big enough). The receiver that fits over the pin on a light stand is also extra deep to prevent wobble, the handle can be repositioned by pulling out and twisting to the desired position, and the hinge is infinitely adjustable with no detents. The bracket is constructed entirely of strong, long-lasting materials. In essence, Godox took everything that went wrong with their previous Bowens adapter as well as their AD-based adapter and combined it into one product. This product replaced the B2 adapter.

I have a few of the S1 version of this bracket, which works fine, but the S2 version feels much better. The tilt mechanism is much smoother than the previous model, which had click stops, making it much easier to adjust to the desired angle. It has a good fit and a solid feel to it. My only disappointment is that it does not fit well with the AD200 Pro/eVOLV 200 Pro (and, I assume, the AD200/eVOLV 200). Because the knob on the side of the AD200 Pro won't pass through the bracket and can't be removed, you'll have to insert the AD200 Pro from the front of the bracket until it makes contact with the knob. I'm surprised Godox didn't consider it, given how popular the AD200 is. br>br>I have several AD360 and AD360 II units that fit perfectly, and I will definitely use this bracket for my AD360s!.

Initial Review: February 2, 2022br>br>I purchased this because I already own an octagon soft box. The softbox and this mount complement each other nicely. The octo box is held in place by a spring-loaded latch pin. My Godox speedlight is in perfect working order. The swivel control handle could have been designed to freely rotate without running into other parts of the mount, which is the only thing that strikes me as odd. To get around those limitations, I have to remove the spring-loaded handle. br>br>This mount comes highly recommended by me.

Previously, I had purchased similar products, but they had a design flaw, which meant it took a lot of effort to move them with a large softbox, and the flash entry was small, so they had to be adjusted a lot. These issues were resolved by using this product, and they are now much easier to handle. The materials are better, and it appears that they will last longer. br>I feel a lot more secure now, and I'm able to protect my flashes better.

Wow, big improvements and better built. I'm really blown away by how versatile this mount is as well as how solid it is built. You can now easily mount the round head flash as well as the rectangular flash heads (1 or 2 at a time) in the vertical position. In general, I'm blown away!.
