The following is an update for 25 Jan 21 * Increasing the rating to 4 stars from 2 stars. It still needs to be used with caution, but I was pleased with the results in the 3rd image of a train with an
In bright conditions, it worked better than the test results.
But I won't use it for projects with very high image quality. A review of the original edition was written as follows
I knew that all layers of glass would degrade but these appear to seriously degrade the image in terms of clarity with respect to a regular layer of glass. It is without a I saw several hazy blotches that didn't appear to cleanse off (6 and 4 stars have not opened 8 star)
The star-shaped spot on the right side does not appear to be causing a problem. Filter effect is cool, but I can't recommend it for top notch photo Considering I have heard a lot of good things about Hoya, I may send back and get it.
Through the use of the 6 star version with and without test shots attached.
A 5mm square. They appear to be fine under close inspection, with the outer ring allowing easy adjusting of star points. I have not yet used them but under close inspection. It has never been a problem for me to purchase from JJC and I would do so.
As you can see, it consists of three It is possible to find the perfect look to highlight points of light with this pack. Their clarity and ability to manipulate makes them easy to work with. The next time I'd buy them, I'd get the same thing.
There's a very fake-looking flare on the screen A natural flare does not exist. The item would not be recommended.
It was excellent.
The image does get slightly hazy, but this can be minimized depending on the style of photography or videography you use.
These are awesome. I was so happy to get them. The idea of star filters is one I have been dying to try for years. It's a good thing In terms of the good, they are remarkably lightweight, and they fit well on the end of your lens. They also do not cost a fortune, but work as advertised (under the right circumstances)* They rotate so that stars can be arranged as you wish. To remove very thin rotational lenses, you should have a great deal of experience working with such lenses, or have very thin fingers so you can operate both rotation and removal independently. It is also essential that you have experience working with your camera and light sources, as well as an excellent understanding of how light travels and is reflected, and an intuitive eye that can tell if something is going to work for you. All other elements in the shot need to be set up correctly in order to make these filters work.
You do not need to worry about any other factors As long as you have a direct and strong source of light.
