Almost every lens I own has a FH adapter ring that screws into its front. I attach the filter holder to the adapter and screw that into the lens. As a result I like how it works.

I think no one should operate their camera without one. You can protect your lens very well with this.

You should take the lens adapter ring off when you are done. This is the image we composed. In case of exposure, it will be easy to return the holder to the ring.
