As advertised, it's very dark and you can't see through it in the indoors. I need to wait for a sunny day to use it.
In any case. This is just what I had in mind to use with my Formatt Hitech filter holder when I bought it. The Lee Big Stopper comes with an attached foam gasket, whereas this one comes with a foam gasket you have to apply yourself. My clothes fit well and I put them on with great care. As a result, the corner started snagging after a few times of sliding it in and out of the filter. Each corner did the same thing and then the situation got worse and worse. In the end, I was forced to remove the foam because it had gotten so bad. That was a bad decision. In one strip, it would not be able to come off. Not at all. In order to remove the tainted filter, I had to cut off about a quarter-inch of the filter at a time. Now my filter appears awful, and I am not sure how to remove it. The Formatt Hitech ND filter I bought is the only one of the remaining products that I would not repurchase The assembly process. You would think that this would have already been taken care of with the money you're paying. I look forward to buying a Lee Big Stopper as my next purchase. I need to get this off. Please let me know how to do it. Thank you very much ahead of time.
It's time to stop trying. That's what I call holy Why have I been missing so much? You're going to get some color shifts as soon as you get serious about light stopping (6+ stops). All that remains for manufacturers is to cut it down to almost My experiences with Firecrest are that it handles this process the best, or at least with half a point of Based on a 10-point scale Don't go! I believe this is the best Big Stopper I've ever purchased.
I'm glad that I now have an ND filter to add to my My filter holder accommodates only two external filters, so I can use the 6 stop ND filter to achieve 9 stops of light reduction with a 3-stop filter. This is a good choice when I want to soften clouds or water beyond what a 3 stop filter can do.
The ND filter appears to be very mysterious to anyone who looks at it. The NiSi V5 filter holder I use with this works well. People who have seen what an ND filter can do should be familiar with it. I am pleased with the results of this filter. When I shot a waterfall in the afternoon, I used a shutter speed around 40 seconds and achieved a nice shutter speed. Also, I captured a night cityscape, which took around two and a half minutes to expose. The use of the filter did not result in any color shift.
My husband and I bought this filter along with the holder and several adapter rings about a month ago. It was simply stunning to see the pictures that I was able to take using the 16 stop light reduction. There was no better tool to use for long exposure than this one. Overall, the effect was uniform across all of the frames and there were no color casts. My wife and I love the filter and think it beats out other products, such as Lee's It appears that the light sealing gasket is left to the buyer to apply since it seems that some people prefer it, as some think that some think the filter will work just fine took a lot of effort to apply, and I nearly did it wrong. This product enabled me to achieve the results I was looking for, and I'm very happy with this.
What else could possibly be needed? This was taken with a Fuji XT There are two Nikon D750 cameras and a Canon T1i camera.
This is the best filter I have ever used. It has negligible color cast. I use it for sunset and full daylight long exposures.
