Questions & Answers
You have complete control over whether or not you want to keep it.
The screen protector is extremely thin, so you won't notice it, and it won't cause the screen to pop out when closed. It appeals to me greatly.
The screen on the R5 is larger.
Is it for when you have a micro SD card and need an adapter to use it with your R6? br>I'm not sure why it's there, but it's not going to harm you:

After aligning everything, I placed the glass screen protector on the LCD screen slowly and gently. I checked to see if there were any flaws, bubbles, or anything else that needed to be worked out or removed after it was installed, and lo and behold, it was perfectly in place with no dust or bubbles. The alignment was perfect, and now that I've used my camera for a while, I'd completely forgotten about the screen protector, which is a good thing! It had no effect on touch sensitivity or the LCD screen's view. When the LCD screen is turned inward to protect it, it closes perfectly and without any issues. br>br>Overall, a quick and painless installation that is well worth the money; it's also nice to have a backup screen protector included, though the additional hotshoe covers are a waste of money that I will never use.
For the R6, it performs as expected. The product has excellent tolerances, and it completely covers the screen. I believe the touch suffers a little, and you can tell when you try to use it to navigate the menu system. It doesn't matter if you've been a Canon shooter for a long time because you're probably used to using the dials anyway. The other question is how the screen will close, which is most likely touch to focus or touch to shoot. With a 'click,' it closes. 'With some glass protectors for my M50, however, this was not the case. Because of the glass protector, there is a slightly larger gap, but I don't believe it adds any additional pressure. The screen protector's purpose is to allow the screen to face out like on old DSLRs, so it's not an issue. Simply ensure that your camera's screen is thoroughly cleaned. After removing the tab plastic cover, align the screen protector on the camera screen and allow it to settle. Any air bubbles should be rubbed out with a rag. On my EOS R6, it was flawless. My wife has the same camera, so we swapped it out with the spare and it worked perfectly.
The application was simple to install, and once it was done, it was difficult to even notice it was there. The touch screen is flawless, and the images and text look fantastic. Overall, I'm pleased with the product, and having a couple of spare covers is useful in case the first one needs to be replaced for any reason. This book comes highly recommended.
It didn't look right when I put the screen protector on the screen of my camera. I removed the first one and tossed it. The second one was the same way. I'm not sure if it's moisture or what, but something appears to be behind the top third of the screen. It simply will not seal properly, and I'm not sure what can be done about it.
For my R6, I ordered this. If I had the option, I would rate it higher than 5 stars. So far, I haven't had any issues. br>br> Great pricebr> Perfect fitbr> Practically invisiblebr> Touch screen is still very responsivebr> Application: It only took a few seconds to set up. br> Includes 3 protectors, as well as enough disposable cleaner wipes and dust removal stickers. br> Bonus items: Everything comes in a nice little faux wooden box with a micro SD adapter and two hot shoe caps (bubble leveler and super cute ladybug). br>.
