I charge my iPhone with it. It must be plugged in (power source) to function, and the cord is either long enough for me or I use an extension cord to connect the phone charger to.

The putty appeared smooshed or melted as well. The putty is also too sticky, and the trays trap the diamonds, making it impossible to remove them. I'd say the light board is the only positive aspect, but I'll have to wait and see how long it lasts.
Everything is in order. The control switch is located on the corner, and I brushed it several times and changed the setting while working on my diamond painting, so it doesn't get 5 stars. Take a look at the video to see how well it works.
If you're going to buy a diamond art kit, make sure you also get one of these. I can't imagine how much more difficult things would have been if I hadn't had them. Excellent craftsmanship. For the price, it is ideal. br>Only gets hot when used on the highest settings for an extended period of time. br>I adore it.
It contains everything that a person could desire or require. For the price, the items are of good quality and offer a good variety, especially since a light board is included.
I could work on it without craning my neck or eyes because of the light board. I wish the drill pens were of better quality, but they are adequate; I am satisfied with my purchase and have recommended it to family and friends.
For my old eyes, it really brightens up the diamond painting canvas, and it's a great work surface. The on switch can be easily bumped while working, but that's a minor annoyance. I like the head holder case, but I'm not sure how well the plastic hinges will hold up to constant opening and closing.
I completed my first diamond painting without the use of a light source or any additional materials. It was all because of this kit! I can see a lot better now, and the tray with the spout for returning unused diamonds to the container is fantastic. I won't need to buy another pen or tray in my life. The diamond container is a little flimsy, but it works fine; the containers open a little too easily after a while, which can lead to spilling, but for the price, it'll suffice. It's a wonderful light. If you're going to do more than one or two diamond paintings, believe me when I say you'll need this.
This was only two days ago when I received it. So far, the light board has proven to be an excellent investment. Every kit comes with the same pens, grips, trays, and wax. They don't have anything unique. The gem-boxes, which are made of plastic. They, on the other hand, aren't so great! They have a cheap feel to them, and only a few of the lids close securely, forcing you to be creative when dumping the gems out of the boxes and making them insecure to move around. We purchased four kits, and this is the case in each of them. br>br>It's incredibly inconvenient that I now need to find a new way to store my gems.
