This kit was purchased to teach my children about flip book animation. We had so much fun with it after a few days that I decided to buy another kit so we could have an extra light board, more paper, and not have to wait turns (okay, I'm impatient and have a hard time taking turns and am the adult who decided to make the most adult of adult decisions and get one for myself, which I swear I will share). promise). It's very simple to use, and I like the binding screws because they come in two different lengths, allowing you to choose the thickness of your books and add on to them later if desired. br>br>It did come with a tutorial sheet that produced a 24-page flipbook. br>br>The LED lightbox/tablet is very easy to use; I like that it has measurements on two sides and soft feet to keep it in place on the table/desk; it can be used for a variety of purposes; as an artist who requires a lightbox from time to time, this one with the three different light levels will be very useful. The USB cable is slightly longer than 4 feet. 5 feet.
This light board and book set is a hit with my grandsons. They were all over it and started using it right away as soon as I opened the outer box and showed them what it was. More blank flip book pages and screws are already on my shopping list. I'm very happy with my purchase; it's a fantastic item!.
It's easy to plug in and go because the light is bright. I've already had to place a second order for paper!.
We love this product, which we bought for our boys and which is $20 less expensive than any other brand; additionally, the customer service is outstanding, so you can buy with confidence. I can attest that they stand by their product 100% and will make it right if something goes wrong.
My son, who enjoys drawing, received this as a 12th birthday present. He's already drawn cartoons for hours with it. He jumps right into this after we get them off of their "screen time. " Aside from playing outside, this is an excellent way for a child to exercise their intellect.
The light pad has three brightness settings, making it ideal for tracing even on watercolor paper. It comes with a USB cable, but you'll need an adaptor to use it with a regular electrical outlet. br>The paper that comes with it isn't very good at flipping. It's possible that I'm too thin, or that I simply need more practice.
At first, we were enthralled by it. My son immediately opened it and began experimenting with the Flipbook Kit. He seemed ecstatic. However, it stopped working six days later. I'm undecided about contacting the seller to inquire about this or leaving a review. As a result, I'm balancing the two. Once we've figured out what's going on, I'll post an update.
