Things to keep in mind: THIS WORKS ON IT'S OWN, WITHOUT THE HELP OF A COMPUTER! It's not a tablet, it's not a screen, it's not a monitor, and it has no connection to the computer other than to provide power, which can also be done through a wall outlet. What exactly is it, then? The light box is brighter than my iPhone 6s if I open a white note page and turn my iPhone light all the way to the top, then turn the light on the light box as bright as it can get. Heavy card stock allows you to see pencil marks on a piece of paper. Having said that, I've had a lot of experience with LED lights and objects that contain them. LEDs, in my experience, fade and burn out if left on for an extended period of time, so turn off the light box when not in use. Another thing to keep in mind is that the intensity of the light has an impact on its lifespan (light span?). As a result, I recommend that you dim the light to the lowest setting possible. What is the surface made of? br>br>Can you tell me what kind of material it is? Although it has the appearance and feel of glass, I believe it is simply a high-quality plastic. br>br>Does it have a flimsy feel to it? Not in the least. For a $30 piece of equipment, it feels very sturdy. br>br>Most light boxes don't come with a wall outlet, which is why so many people mistake them for a computer tablet. For power, the seller suggests connecting it to your computer. This light box, on the other hand, includes a plug. It also includes four magnets to keep your paper in place on the light box. I haven't tried using the magnets for this, but I did try sticking them on the light box's surface, and they seem to be quite strong. br>br>The cords in the port holes appear to be very strong and do not wiggle. br>br>Based on the fact that the film protector on the glass and plug had peeled away from the surface, I believe the one I received was a return. However, it continues to function. I'm just hoping the previous owner didn't leave it on for an extended period of time before returning it.

It's a lot easier to see the small squares and symbols. I had this for three months before the cord began to fail to stay in the port; I contacted BraineyTrade, and they promptly sent me a replacement. Customer service is excellent, and working with them is a breeze. This product, as well as the company, comes highly recommended from me!.

I went out and purchased a light box. a different brand from a few years ago They're great for quilting and embroidery patterns, in my opinion. The previous one had an on/off touch sensor button on the left top that was so sensitive that even a light touch turned it off or changed the brightness. In all seriousness- It would turn off if I blew on it, I swear. It's a huge pain. Wasn't it great to come across one with regular side buttons-- as well as magnets to keep the paper in place What an incredible idea. Magnets can be seen on the top in the photo. The screen, however, is magnetic in its entirety. It's the same size as the one I used to have- It's just that it's a lot lighter and more slender. I bought the stand as well--it's amazing how quickly technology advances. I wanted to be able to use it at an angle, so that's what I did. I couldn't be more pleased- I got rid of the previous one. I'd tell a friend about this. In addition, the cost was excellent.

I am an amateur astronomer, and I recently received this item. I must say, my first impression out of the box is that I am very pleased with it. To be honest, for the price, I was expecting something of lower quality, but it is not! It came in a cardboard box, with the panel and an AC 100-volt outlet inside. The frame is black plastic made, but it looks good quality, on one side there are three buttons, an on/off switch, and two dim control switches, at full brightness is very bright and has eight brightness levels, my intention is to use it as a flat box, to take flat calibration frames. I used to use electroluminescent panels, but they are much more expensive and require mounting in an acrylic panel, with the drawback that they cannot be dimmed. Review has been updated: My original negative review is below, but the company reached out to me to resolve my issue without my asking. I gave 4 stars because of the sleekness of the pad and the excellent customer service. I would have given this company 5 stars if the pad had worked right away, but I want to be fair and honest. br>br>The light pad, on the other hand, is nice and thin. I was disappointed when I got it today. The light pad itself is of low quality. The buttons on the side of the pad are essentially the same as the buttons on the front of the pad. I'm looking for a small tool to use to push the buttoms. My pad appears to have been damaged in transit.
