I got the a2 because I'm going to use it for diamond painting. It arrived quickly and was simple to unpack and plug in. The cord isn't particularly long, but it's sufficient for me to move around without having to unplug it. If measurements are important to you, it also has them along the right side of the frame. It's small and light. I am extremely pleased.

I was tired of fighting with those small cheap light boards for large projects, so I took a chance and bought this, not knowing if it would be big enough or bright enough, and boy was I surprised, it was not only big enough but bright enough, I'm so glad I got it, if you do large diamond paintings or any other art, THIS is exactly what you need,.

BUYING IS A MISTAKE. THIS IS A BROKEN PRODUCT. EVERY BUYER WHO HAS THIS PROBLEM SHOULD RECEIVE A REFUND FROM AMAZON. WARNINGS FROM REVIEWERS WITH LOW STAR RATINGS SHOULD BE LISTENED TO. I was relieved to discover something so large for negatives and slides. However, there is a problem with the wiring. This has been such a letdown for me. It looks great, is a good size, the price was reasonable, and the light is adequate, but after only a few months of use: It automatically turns on and cannot be turned off without being unplugged. The on/off and dimmer switches were no longer functional. It's still usable, but not in the same way. I'm afraid it'll just burn out at any moment because I can't adjust the brightness of the light and have to plug it in and out. Regrets! During the initial use of the board, it melted and warped. Within minutes of turning on the power, the frame became too hot to touch, posing a potential burn or fire hazard; the replacement board arrived warped, with a large crack in the drawing surface, despite the packaging being completely intact; terrible quality and a waste of time.

In the last week, I've had two. The first one arrived bent, with the power and brightness buttons only working about half of the time, requiring multiple attempts to turn on and adjust the brightness. br>The second one arrived, and while it isn't bent, it has the same power button issues as the first. br>Dealing with the MFG has been a nightmare thus far. They were going to send out a code for a free unit from Amazon, but the code isn't working. br>It's fantastic when the unit works properly. Very bright on the highest setting, and still pretty bright on the lowest, but the issues with it make me think it won't last, and the company's issues make me think getting them to honor the warranty will be a challenge that isn't worth the effort. br>If the company doesn't step up (waiting for information from them now), I will return this and find something from another company within the Amazon return time. br>I will update this review as needed.

For several years, I've been working with Diamond beads on a smaller A4 LED light board; it's fine for small canvas pictures, but it's a pain to move the canvas around without getting the symbols mixed up! Now the USB port is causing me problems because the cable is becoming detached. I have a really big easel for bigger canvas projects, so it was time to look for a bigger LED lightboard, which I found and it's fantastic. I no longer have to be concerned about USB ports because it plugs into the wall socket, and I no longer have to be concerned about it becoming detached. What's more, it has a variety of light settings, the brightest of which is extremely bright. I'm completely enamored with it! It also came with a transport bag made of extremely heavy canvas.

Because it wasn't sent in a big enough box, it arrived cracked. But it works fine, and the surface is still smooth enough to use despite the damage. It's not falling apart, but one thing I don't like about it is how high-tech it is. squeal at a high pitch It gets louder as the brightness increases. It's also difficult to clean due to the textured surface. I can live with all of these things because they aren't used on a daily basis. This experience has taught me that the less expensive light pads are flimsy and serviceable, but not enjoyable.
