No, it doesn't work that way.
The instructions state that the charger must be able to output 5V and 2Amps, which I believe they are trying to achieve. It was only a matter of time before old USB chargers became obsolete. 5 amps is the maximum, but most newer models are fine.
The lighted area is approximately 9x13 inches in size.
This isn't a projector or a computer; it's merely a light source. You place the original image on top of it, then cover it with your drawing paper. The light passes through the paper, allowing you to see just enough of the original to trace it. I used to do the same thing, taping the original to a window on a bright day and then overlaying my drawing page on top of it.

So, instead of using my flatbed scanner, I decided to scan my film negatives with a DSLR, and the results are far superior. Other light pads cost twice as much or more than four times as much as this one, but it does the job and costs less than $20. There are three levels of brightness. When scanning film, you should use the highest setting. Each negative should be photographed using a tripod and a macro lens, then opened in Lightroom and converted with Negative Lab Pro.
It's fantastic for painting diamonds. I bought this Light Pad to replace one I had for my "diamond" painting, which was similar to this. This one appeals to me more; it has more substance. The USB cable is longer. I also like that it doesn't have the dots that my previous one did; instead, it has a mesh that lights up. Also ideal are the three brightness levels. This is a great Light Pad for diamond painting that I highly recommend. It will be well worth your time and effort!.
This product is exactly what it says on the tin. The brightness options are ideal for a variety of papers. The one in the picture is fairly thick, but it still allows for tracing. Its lightweight design allows you to take it with you if you so desire. Because it only comes with a cable, you'll need a USB adapter to plug it in for electricity or to use it with your computer, as stated in the description. For tracing, paper, and fabric, this is an excellent tool.
The only drawback was that they sent you a card stating that if you email them with a code and order number, you will receive a free wall charger. However, when you do so, it says that the email address is invalid. br>Bummer!br>I need my charger right now!.
I'm very pleased with it! I usually get headaches when I'm painting by diamonds with a backlight, but I didn't even get a hint of one this time. The lighting can be adjusted, and I've made a video showing how to do so. It was very simple to use, and it didn't get too hot on my lap. It's the ideal size for sitting on your lap. It's a huge step forward in terms of figuring out what I'm up to.
So far, I'm quite pleased with it. I've been drawing with it for about two weeks, and I only use it when I need to light something on my desk (my desk lamp is broken). I need to change the light bulb, but I'm too lazy to go to the store and get one) but that's not the point. nWhen I need to take simple pictures, I use the light box to illuminate the products. I'm using it for almost everything, which is a bit recursive. br>br>So far, the connection plug has worked flawlessly, and the cable does not appear to be of poor quality. (Neither the light box)br>br>I like it, and I'm going to get another one for my brother for his birthday!.
This lightboard is only used for backlighting during diamond painting, but it performs as expected and relieves the strain on my eyes caused by only lighting from above. I do find that the plug gets in the way a little, especially since it's on the right side of the table, and the plug has to face right to clear my workspace, so the power button occasionally ends up under my hand and gets clicked at random times. However, it is only a minor annoyance. br>br>For the convenience of wireless use, I personally would prefer it to be always powered rather than remembering to charge it. It has three light settings, but I find that the lowest is sufficient for me. My daughter had a lot of fun using it to trace a picture.
Perfect! Just what my daughter needed, as she enjoys drawing anime characters. Everything works great, it's very light and durable, and the seller is easy to contact. The shipment arrived on time. The red magnet that came with it works fine, though I had expected two magnets. In any case, it's a fantastic product, and I'm going to buy another one for my niece.
