The DOTTMON LCD Battery Charger for Sony NP F* Batteries is a fantastic device. It charges both batteries at the same time at a rate of one to one. Both 5 and 2 amps are available. The battery charge is indicated by flashing stars on the backlit LCD display, which also displays the voltage and mAh. After about 25 seconds, the backlight turns off. However, it continues to charge, and at a 60-degree angle, the display is dimmed. You can control the amount of amps the batteries charge by pressing the current'shift' button. If only one battery is present or both are fully charged, the message 'null' appears, implying that nothing is charged. This isn't the quickest charger on the market. After 4 hours on my F970s, there are still 2 stars left with a capacity of 2550mAh. The charger does not get hot even at 2 amps. One of the reasons I decided to get a new charger was because the one I had was extremely hot, indicating a poorly engineered and potentially dangerous design. This charger, on the other hand, hasn't had any issues. This charger also includes a 12V car charger adaptor for on-the-go charging. This charger has made my life a lot easier.

F chargers, but they're severely underpowered. It takes an eternity to charge because it is battery powered. Both of my other ones, I believe, have a maximum capacity of 800mAh per battery. Even at 1A, this saves a significant amount of time during the charge. However, the number one. In comparison to the other chargers I own, the 5A and 2A charge modes are SCREAMIN. On smaller batteries, I don't mind the slower chargers as much, but on larger batteries (4000mAh and up), the slow chargers take a long time to charge, so this is a huge help. br>br>If you're not in a hurry, the 1A rate is ideal, as it strikes a good balance between battery life and charge time; if you're in a hurry, the higher rates are ideal. This is a wonderful little charger for my NP-100. This is a good way to save some minutes on your charge if you're using F batteries. It even has a decent display that gives you a good idea of how much charge is left. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

The fact that this is a dual charger, allowing you to charge two batteries at once, is already a plus.   This is a great product that does exactly what it says it will. Charges quickly, I believe due to the 12v power supply, which some may consider a disadvantage, but I believe it is worth it for the charging speed. The usb ones take longer to charge, which is inconvenient when shooting on location. I have a black magic pocket 6k that I use. As a 6k pro, these must be charged at all times on set so that I can swap batteries as needed. In fact, I unboxed this charger on the spot and it worked nonstop for two days. It has vents to keep it cool, as well as a push button for adjusting the amps to suit your batteries' needs. Despite the fact that it is a new brand that I had never heard of before, my experience with it was fantastic, and I would recommend it.
