You can use either type of cable with the charger because it has both micro and mini USB input ports.

When your batteries are fully charged and ready to use, an LED power indicator will illuminate.

I'm blown away! I bought two of these batteries because the price was so low, and I figured what could go wrong? I still use my Hero 4 Black in my helmet mount (and my Hero 6 Black on my bike or in my car), and the original batteries are only good for 10 minutes

On a full charge, it lasts for 15 minutes. I got these batteries, charged them up, and now I'm doing an initial test of the camera recording 2. The battery lasted for 1 hour and 7 minutes when shooting 7K video. Amazing! After a few cycles, hopefully they will continue to perform well.

I have a HERO4 and this little device charges my batteries. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it also came with an extra battery. There have been no issues with this product.

What more could you ask for? It's inexpensive and it works. I'm not sure how long the replacement battery will last, but it's always good to have extras!.
