It's not clear to me if there is that much of a difference between the standard grade and premium grade. The grade is not specified anywhere on the product itself. It is possible to record for an extended time period, a long recording time period, and a standard recording time period. Listed as a standard play rating of two hours, the tapes can be played for six hours if extended play is selected. Please find the answer to your question in the following paragraphs.
It is possible to purchase them in either 6 or 8 hours. This is the T A 120 hour day is 6 hours long, and a 160 hour day is 8 hours long.

My attempts to use the tapes have so far been unsuccessful on two of them. It was sent as a favor to a relative who recorded it well. Neither the first nor the second record anything. I try to use it several times a day, but it ejects each time. It is not possible for me to return the product since I am no longer in possession of it. A rip-off has happened to me and I'm angry about it. It shouldn't take so long for someone to remove all tapes to determine if they are usable before moving on.
There is a small buzz after releasing the pause (recorded on In a quiet passage, there is just a little bit of a hum that I can detect for 1/2 second on the tape but not enough to spoil my use of it. TDK or Sony tapes do not cause this problem for me. The tapes are good but don't really surpass the price of others for the same purpose.

As I was not physically able to retrieve the package, I cannot retrieve it through Two days ago, the box was unlocked ( 01-01 ), so I have only used ONE of the tapes. The recording on that one, at least, has been successful. (I have learned over the years that recording tapes will likely work better if you fast forward to the end of the tape and allow it to rewind back to the beginning BEFORE you hit record). That said, I have NO doubts that the package arrived on schedule. No one has ever shown up later than they.
