Does the device have the capacity to store longer recordings than 30 minutes at a higher speed?

All customers who answered the question are welcome to join the discussion. *br>You, Seller, answered in 1 minute and the "SP" for these tapes is 30 minutes. As the name suggests, "SP" refers to Standard Play. By doing a standard play, you get to record information onto the tape in the manner intended without compromising the quality of the recording. A " EP" is 1 1/2 hours long. An "LP" (Long Play) 3 hours and 23 minutes. It's the longest recording mode, but it may cause some degradation of the quality of scenes or appear as block noise when scenes are in rapid motion. *br>So, in answer to your question "Will they record longer than 30 minutes at a different speed setting?", they will not. This is "EP" Yes, I understand.

Do these have an 8mm lens?

There is no method I know of for converting this to an MP3, so it is not for MP3 players. These are VHS cassettes designed to fit Compact VHS camcorders, as well as regular VHS machines, if you have the adapted machine. The 8mm DVC tape was a popular format for camcorders from the late '80s to the early '90s to enable them to be made smaller. They are around 3/4 the size of VHS and made camcorders smaller than they previously were. Now that camcorders record in memory cards, they are becoming smaller and lighter than 8mm cameras. It is not possible to use these tapes with different camcorders because they are not compatible.
