The good news is that there are electronic converters available which will give you a Standard Definition signal compatible with an older TV. It is possible to record movies on a TV with a VCR. As of yet, I haven't used the tapes, but they seem to match the seller's description of "still factory sealed" at the time of purchase. The following is an update for Tuesday, February 21 We have now filled up all the tapes! They have all worked perfectly! The fact that Amazon is offering these new ones for $7 per piece [I order some now] is great. Since it seems that everyone is charging that price, I guess I might as well put up.

My camcorder requires VHS tapes. I bought them to use with it. Despite the fact that I have a number of old tapes, the magnetic tape has deteriorated so much over time that even if they work, the recording quality is not good. The only place that I can find VHS tapes these days is online, and it appears that they were As of 15 years ago, the tapes don't drag and the quality of the recordings is exactly the same as when I bought the camcorder. Retro is the new new (old school).

This is a hard to find item! Recording TV shows on a VHS player/recorder is one of my favorites memories from my childhood

Thank you so much for these which were very helpful to find since I was recycling my tapes over and over again. The price seemed a little high compared to what I paid in store, but, as I mentioned, these are hard to find now. I would buy this product.

It was great that the order was delivered earlier than promised and that shipping was free. In spite of this, I did not receive the video tapes shown. As a result, I received the Maxwell P/I plus the T-. I'm satisfied with them, though, since they work.

It does not work with any of the three packs. All three of their evaporative cooling systems have failed indicating that they have sat in a hot storage area for years with no temperature control. We do not recommend it.

The fact that they offer more than 6 hours of recording time for EP mode is one of my favorites. As for the picture quality, it is quite good.

It is worthless. It was determined that all three tapes were unusable because they were faulty. I was completely ripped off. One star isn't even enough for this movie.
