I bought these to do the Big Three Upgrade on my car. The connectors in this box are extremely strong. The OFC used was a little larger than 2 ga. I left a few "hairs" dangling but clipped them with some flush cutters so that they wouldn't cause any tangles. The connectors were barely adequate for the oversized wire, but worked fine. I just want to mention that the heatshrink included with the kit was not big enough to cover the thick insulation of I recommend getting some 3/4" thick heatshrink for it as it is extremely thin. Three was the number I used The heatshrink looks very professional since it is sealed with silicone. As a result of the high quality of the connectors, I did not dock a star to the heatshrink. At Auto Zone you would have to pay this much for just two of them. My intentions were to only purchase a pack of five and see if they were any good. There will be more of these on my shopping list.
It's average. The only crimper I bought for this job was a special one. Despite the fact that they don't crimp very well, the problem seems to be with the crimper rather than with.
