When heated up it shrinks nicely so that it fits snug and leaves a good little adhesive ring behind. This is a good product that does not have any lettering or marks on its outer surface, which gives it a plus point in my book.

I was pleased with the results. My boat trailer was rewired with this when I did it. It's necessary to shrink the mask from the center outward just like all other kinds, in order to melt the glue and let it flow out to the ends where it's supposed to serve to.
