However, it does have the advantage of being well-designed If you have the room for it, it is well built, rock solid, as durable as any fuse holder can be, and easy to install. It was recommended by my installer to use a 150A fuse, but that sounded excessive so I ignored him and got an ANL 100A fuse without a holder. Previously, the 60A AGU fuse that I had blown. This fuse replaced it. You can purchase a mini ANL fuse holder instead of an ANL fuse holder if you lack space for a regular ANL fuse holder. I would recommend ANL type fuses as a better solution for the main power fuse (between the battery and amp). Round AGU glass fuses are not as good since their fuse holders are shorter.
