There will be a display of 24v and
That would be the case. The four I have don't only show 24 or 48 volts. I have experienced voltage drops of up to 11 volts with long heavy bass hits. That causes the display. downside is you have to be sure to put a switch on the ground in order to turn the display off otherwise it will remain on at all times.
Located directly on the backside of the (black) backing plate of the 12" inches is the length of the ground wire.
That would be the case. in order to turn off the display, you would have to attach a switch to the ground wire.

The contract is for one Added an edit For one year, this product worked fine, but then it restricted the voltage my alternator could supply to my battery and my battery couldn't be charged. The battery is now at 14 volts when the car is running, instead of the 11 volts this product was reducing it to when the car is running. The power wire goes to my "big three" alternator upgrade and 1/0 gauge wire to the battery. No instructions are included and the wire that comes with it is not clear as to whether it is positive or negative My mistake is that I should have understood Then I thought the digital read out drew power from its own wire and would be internally grounded? So I put it on the positive terminal. My brain doesn't function all the time. The digital read out didn't seem to work, so I suspected it was faulty. It turns out that it is in fact a negative wire. I connected it to the negative terminal and it works and looks good. I may try adding a switch so that I can keep the wire connected at the battery terminal and when I want to check the reading, I can just flip the.
I noticed that my display suddenly went out about 2 weeks after I placed the fuse holder. In terms of everything else, it works well. Get a different fuse if you want one with a display. Just a fire would be sufficient if all you wanted was a fire.
It's nice to have thick 0 gauge openings and each side has its own O ring gasket to keep moisture out. Similar to the other review, I was able to torque it completely with an Allen wrench and vise grips.
This is an extremely solid piece of work. I was not expecting to replace the ANL fuse because it was bigger in size. As I had previously purchased mini ANL fuses, being surprised at the difference when I opened the package was surprising. A little knowledge can make a lot of difference! It doesn't matter which way the housing is installed, it's thick and very sturdy. It was very easy to install the wiring I was using thanks to the large openings in 0 gauge. It was possible for me to apply a very high torque to the allen bolts to make sure the wiring was snug.
As soon as the set screws were first connected, they came out.
My opinion of this device is that it is I think it looks good, but its functionality is in doubt. The breaker I installed was not what I liked, so I replaced it.
The quality of the product is excellent. It is well made and simple to install. Repurchase would be a good idea.
I like it. It works great and is well built.
