I see that some people have problems using this with 4 gauge wires. Do you know if this will work with 4 gauge wires?

My experience was very positive, and I was able to use the 2/0 wire with no issues. It comes with inserts for smaller wires so that it can be tightened correctly by fifteen turns.

Are there wires that will fit 4/0?

The seller is A 4AWG wire is a VERY different size from a 4/0 wire. Copper wire measured by the 4AWG, 2AWG, 1/0 (0), 2/0 (00), and 4/0 (0000) gauges is about 3/4". I apologize for the misinformation and will correct it as soon as possible. In addition to 4/0, I am looking for them.

What is the battery drain from led displays?

A fuse is all that is present, there is no led.

Known as the ANL King of the West
5/5

When I pulled it out from the package, I couldn't believe it was that big. It was so heavy just in my hands. In the beginning, I was intimidated by it because I didn't know how to use it. The only problem was that I did not know where exactly I would put an equipment of this size in It didn't fit around the intake well, so I tried mounting it on the side, but its thickness made it almost impossible to mount properly. I tried around the intake, but I was sure it would restrict the airflow too much. After I had made a little table to secure it, I realized I had to make a little stand to hold it. I finally got that thing to fit in there with a little bit of elbow grease and creativity. The thing became much easier to work with once I mounted it in the proper way. As for the thick gauge wire, the rest of it was easily accessible and I was able to service it with no issue. Overall, I cannot give anything less than 5 stars for this. It took some work, but it is a true work of art. The size of my home has changed so drastically that I can never imagine living anywhere smaller again.

Prices are good, but they will melt if the power is high
3/5

The starter cable fuse should be used with it. The majority of users give this a good rating. There are many good features in this program. Suitable for wire of 0 or 4 gauge. Has an o-ring. A dust-tight seal should be provided by the rings. Keeping it dust-tight is also made possible by the cover, which screws on. Several users have posted images of theirs melting on the web. It seems that I should know the answer to the question. It is possible that the manufacturer simply calls it "high temp" plastic, but does not The material appears to be acrylic, however. Those temperatures are not very high at all. It has been determined that at 200 amps the fuse will dissipate 24 watts. It was the fuse itself the user was concerned with, asserting that it had too much power to dissipate. Yet, I am not convinced that's the problem. It is the way it is, you run 200 amps through a fuse, so some power will have to be dissipated. There's nothing you can do about it. Compared to JL Audio, its price is over twice as high. What's the reason? Getting it made from polycarbonate is a better choice because it is rated for a higher temperature. (I'm not employed by JL and am in no way affiliated There's no doubt in my mind that they make good products. )

In my application, this fuse holder will be used in the starter line, where it will not be exposed to Therefore, I am fine with it. However, I will use JL Audio or similar products to cut the amplifier fuses. The reason discount products are discounted is because they are on sale.

At the moment, it seems to be working well
5/5

As far as I know, I have no valid It was a bit frustrating to have to get an Allen wrench to connect the wires because I wasn't paying close attention to the style of wire connections this fuse had. While it fit the 2 gauge wire, although it was tight, I am unsure how it would fit 0 gauge wire however, I can't verify whether it does. While it looks cool, the fuse cover has 4 tiny screws and can be difficult to work with if you have it in a small enclosure. If I had to use it in this small enclosure, the fuse cover would have snapped on. However, all that was obvious to me when I purchased it, so the thing isn't defective, it's just the buyer who overlooked it. I like the look of it.

It is not suitable for continuous high current applications, as the internal resistance will cause the fuse to heat up and melt
3/5

The fuse that was included with the socket is not suitable for continuous high current applications, as it has too high an internal resistance. At 200 Amps across the 250 Amp fuse, I measured a voltage drop of 120 mV, which makes it a stunning zero. There are 24 Watts lost as heat as a result of 125 times 200. Whenever that current is drawn for up to a few hours, the plastic housing of the fuse will melt, as in my case the fuse is mounted inside the engine compartment of the van.

Recommendation This fuse and socket should not be used for the charging of batteries or for inverters. It is possible that if a continuous current close to the rated current of the fuse is continuously drawn over a prolonged period of time, it could heat up, potentially posing.

I don't like it
3/5

My rating is 2 stars because of fast shipping although it should be 1 star because the terminals had some burn marks, so it means that the terminals were used on a new casing.

This fuse is good for the price, and the plastic is hard
5/5

The wires can easily be plugged in 2 gauge and 4 gauge. Unlike the screws, neither the block nor the block's interior is gold-plated. This is similar to Rockford Fosgate in function and size, but is plated in gold and more expensive. We will buy this product again because of the great price and sturdy design.

I love these so much that I can't bring myself to put them under my hood
5/5

The system was just received yesterday, but it has yet to be It looks and feels like it cost at least hundred dollars, so I had to write a review. It has a shiny, gold finish and is beautiful. My opinion is that it should be installed around an engine, not next to it. I will post more once it is installed.
