Because it's a 300-amp fuse, it should be able to handle up to 4200 watts in theory. Amps X volts = watts is a handy formula to remember for future reference. Because a car's electrical system operates at around 14 volts, 300 amps multiplied by 14 volts equals 1400 watts.

While the housing is double-o-ring sealed, the cable entry must be sealed by the user, which we recommend using heat shrink or tape for.
Both ends of the wire can be 1/0 awg.

Quality! Okay, I wasn't sure what to expect for such a low price on a well-known brand, but I'm blown away. These are massive and sturdy! Rubber o-rings are used to connect the devices. rings to keep water out of the fuse compartment of the ANL. I imagine it would fill up with water if submerged, but not for general cleaning or rain situations under a vehicle's hood. These are a perfect match for the KnuKonceptz Kollossus Kable. All of the screw holes appear to be solid, and you should be able to safely torque them down. Because the plastic is thick and does not flex, it provides a stable mounting surface. Please keep in mind that these inlines are quite large, measuring 6" from edge to edge. With a 2. 25" x 2. The mounting base is 50" long. They're notched on the inside so you can mount them vertically or angled without having to worry about the ANL fuse moving around inside the housing. The actual terminal has a half-inch 0 gauge opening. The set screw has a special design for gripping the stranded wire, as shown in the photo. The logo is protected by a thin, rubbery, static film. I recommend leaving it turned on until the installation is complete. This product is excellent and does not appear to be cheap. It's a five-star experience from beginning to end.
I set up the inverter with quick connect cables so that it could be connected only when needed, and I needed a fuse link to go between the batteries and the quick connect, and this fuse holder's design was ideal for the job. It's fantastic how the end caps screw on and off to allow you to slide the fuse in and out. The fuse link is attached to the back of the battery frame I constructed, facing the camper. Because the space where it's installed is limited, accessing the fuse from the sides is ideal. br>br>The only problem I had was that I only had one cable in the holder. The 1/0 cable appears to be the best option for this connection. To solve the problem, I contoured a piece of 1/2" copper water pipe over the copper strands so that when the allen screw was tightened, the tip of the screw came into contact with the rigid piece of copper pipe, pinching the cable securely into the connection. After that, I used dielectric grease to protect the connection from water and oxidation.
From the outside, it's definitely waterproof. It came with a 200 amp fuse when I needed a 300, so I emailed and then just called them when I got it and they sent me a 300 amp fuse at no charge. I used this with the knukonceptz kollosus flex cable the OFC one and it was very difficult to get into the houseing after I had gotten the wire tightened down but the barrel screw that pushes down on the wire sticks up a bit because the wire is so big which makes it difficult The housing is reasonably durable, and the grips for tightening on the ends have been flattened to make twisting on them easier.
giggidy. It does what it's supposed to do, but it isn't. This is a large piece. Depending on your space, this may or may not be a good thing, but either way, it will work for you. Take a look at what else they have. The length of this one is approximately 6 inches. It's a substantial size.
Because there are, I'm awarding it two stars. Overall, I believe the structure is sound. I'm giving it two stars because there are four O-words in it. On this, there are rings. I disassembled it after receiving it and placed the fuse on my kitchen counter. I haven't even put wire in it yet, and three of the O-rings have already been removed. When I unscrewed the rings, the ends disintegrated or broke. The ends had been tightened to the point where the o-ring was pinched. ring. I'll have to check with the parts store to see if they have any available in that size.
This is fantastic! The mounting holes are easy to access, the interior is well-sealed, and it perfectly fits KnuKonceptz 0gauge wire! (This is, after all, how it ought to be. ) Because it's mounted pretty high up under my truck, I don't think it needs to be waterproof, but it should help keep the cables from oxidizing!.
We use it in our car stereo system for our loud bass and 15-inch subwoofer, and it works great.
It went well with my upgrade to the big three. For over a year, it hasn't blown on.
