I liked how this kit fit my 10 gauge kit! As part of the wire kit that came with my subwoofer, there was a cheap blade type fuse holder that had My sub began to cut on and off continuously after six months of running my sound system
5/5

My fuse had melted and after six months, I had to replace the fuse. A barrel type fuse such as this one from InstallGear is a welcome removed the cheap fuse holder and installed this one in a matter of seconds, based on my level of trust in this brand. There is a sealing oil on it It has rings that seal the wire joints, a set screw that holds both ends very securely, and a ring at the beginning of the wire where it contacts the wire. It was easy to zip up because of the holes in the plastic base The battery should be bound near the tie. The price is also fantastic, and if the tank blows, it can easily and inexpensively be replaced. If I were able to buy it again, I would definitely.

No unit could handle anything more than 25A at 12V, having been test twice
3/5

With these we were able to supply 12v to our batteries from a Victron Solar MPPT. A 40A fuse appears to be a good choice for the Solar Charger, since it is rated at 35A. In recent years, there has been an increasing amount of resistance on the fuse end sockets, which causes heat to accumulate until the fuse is blown. In the case of the unit above, the solders and/or the plastic cap start to melt after a few hours. The previous one lasted about four A Bussman Series 185 breaker has been switched on today and hopefully will work better than the previous one.

A fuse holder can be used to connect a subwoofer amplifier
5/5

To replace an old fuse holder for my subwoofer setup in the trunk, I bought this fuse holder. Under the hood, I still have the old one mounted and I think the heat in the engine compartment has damaged it, causing it to become brittle and crack. It is similar to the old one in design, and I was able to replace it with this one without any problems.

The quality of the fuses is poor
3/5

The fuse holders I ordered are 40A and 80A (two of each fuse). Fuse holders themselves were fine, but of the 2 fuses I installed (one 80A and one 40A), both had failed components.

One fuse came unglued before I started to install it, but it snapped in half shortly after. In fact, the second bad fuse looked okay on the outside, but when installed consistently caused circuits to open Finding and troubleshooting this error was a pain in the neck. The third fuse holder did not end up being installed, but I do not trust the cheap poor quality fuse it came with. To replace the fuses, I needed to order more. That's not okay.

I like the fuse holder a lot
5/5

This fuse works great for an inline fuse in a sound system or for relays on large power wires. I've used mine without issues for a very long time in my engine bay. However, one day I accidentally sprayed my fuse with brake cleaner overspray. Plastic was ripped apart by the animal and shattered. In this case, I made a mistake and it was not a normal experience. The replacements are still a good choice because they work well. If you hit them with something that eats paint or plastic please don't.

A good value for the money
4/5

This is a value for money purchase. wanted to use it as the main fuse for a remote vehicle start system that draws 30 amps maximum. It might seem like a bit of overkill, but I did not feel comfortable using a blade fuse holder I think it's a fair quality product and is a good value for the price. When I am faced with a high-stakes test Those are good features. I might go for something a little bit better at the end stereo install. However, this will work just fine for utility work.

Despite the higher cost, why would you do so? This is a great deal, and at this price you can't beat it
5/5

I wasn't expecting the quality to be so good I recently screwed the plastic ends as hard as I could and there were no cracks or skipping of the plastic threading. This is not true for cheaper stuff that is easy to break, gets foggy and yellow quickly, and has seals that don't seal. Keeps the fuse tightly in place. There are plenty of seals and grommets that will fit, as well as some that don't.

Installation was easy and the product works as expected. The software worked with 10GA without any.
