There's no problem accepting 10 awg, however the wire is so thin that an adapter would be needed. A wire's diameter increases while its thickness decreases as it gets larger. In other words, zero AWG is about 1/2 inch thick (wire) while 10 AWG is about 3/16 inch thick or less. Wire used for speaker cables typically has a 16-gauge diameter There is an 18-awg gauge.
10 amps per 100 watts is a good rule of thumb
One of the 200 would be my recommendation
It appears to be a 6,000 watt amplifier for car audio. The wires would be carrying 500 amps if it was a true 6,000 watt (most are not) at 12V! In 1/0 copper wire, the biggest amps can be reached at 120 amps, but beyond that the wire becomes Hence, nothing small will do. You'll need something much larger.

I am using a pair to protect segments of a solar installation and I appreciate the fact that the fuse has separate mounting screws for the wire and for the fuse itself. These are better than basic 2 screw units to hold When I build another solar system or expand my current solar setup, I will not hesitate to purchase InstallGear branded components. Please accept my sincere thanks!.
Although the product appeared to be well built, it did not stand up to It would take me anywhere from 1500 to 2000 every time I could smell hot materials when I had a load of 1800 W (12V). A picture shows how it looked after it failed.
So, I kept searching and I found one with screws and not only that the design and look of this product is terrific. It also came with a fuse as an extra bonus. just installed 4AWG and it was so easy to use. You don't have to look further if you need one of these for your project.
In case of an internal dead short in my Tripp Lite inverter, I hooked this up to a 36V forklift battery to protect it from damage. It appears to be very effective.
It is so easy to buy! To relieve my impatience, I bought another fuse holder similar in a local car stereo shop, since Prime was too slow to deliver my fuse holder. This fuse holder is a world of difference from the $30 fuse holder from the car stereo shop. I bought this fuse holder for a third of the cost and it was built ten times better than my old one. In addition, it feels extremely heavy, and the quality is far better than anything else I have Additional orders are on the way.
Due to the sweet cover that it comes with, it can be used inside the trunk as well as under the hood. There are also screws on the cover, which is nice since some of the cheaper products only Solid and durable, this product will last for a long time. I found it to be quite sturdy, and it is a relatively They fit perfectly and I picked up a few extra fuses that are right sized for my amplifiers. It is also solid to get a distribution block from the same maker.
This connector has a heavy gauge reducer and an easy mounting surface. It is a sturdy, good connection. I used my heavy-duty Velcro strips on mine, and they held very well.
