The Maxi type is huge. I really enjoy the interior design and the quality of the furniture A fuse holder for an electrical line. This is a very easy task to accomplish. You can simply cut the wire attached to the fuse away and splice/solder the two ends where you wish to put The battery would generally be located next to this in an engine compartment when installing a car audio system. I would say that this application is completely durable. However, you may not have MAXI fuses on hand. You probably don't have THEM available on your system. The fuses are enormous in comparison to the mini fuses or standard fuses found in a fuse box for an automobile, for example. Since I had to order a set after the fact, I had to order one after the fact. As it turned out, I had the time. Why not throw in a 40 amp and a 60 amp fuse and raise the price a penny?.

While trying to remove the fuse, the contacts were so tight that they broke the fuse. There appears to have been no testing done on this item before it was sold.
