With an iPhone Xplus (a larger cell phone), I've been using my Air Vent Car Mount. This review is based on that device. br>br>This car mount is good in general. Its cost puts it on par with similar products. The connection between the mount and my car's vent is simple to use and provides a secure grip. On the car mount vent connector, there are two distinct "settings": I always used the tighter of the two settings, and the mount never came loose from the vent. The vent attachment settings and grip are accessed via the back of the mount's flip switch. You'll probably never need to change the tightness setting once you've found it. As a result, while this flip switch is accessible from the back of the mount, it is unlikely to be used frequently. br>br>The seat where the phone sits is my favorite part of this mount. When the seat is open, it has plenty of room for a larger phone like mine, and all you have to do is pinch the side closed until it fits snugly. This is very simple and something you will use frequently, so I give it high marks for being simple to use and providing a secure fit on the phone. br>br>At the bottom center of the mount is a release button that allows you to remove your phone from the seat. Simply press this button to open the mount's "jaws" and remove your phone. The jaws will not open if you press the button while holding the jaws or other mounting components. It's not difficult to figure out, but this aspect of the design could be better. Finally, because the mount is attached to your car vents, I've found that if I've turned on the air conditioning, the mechanism to open the jaws and release the phone is a little sluggish. This is due to the cold air from the vent directly hitting the mount. Because I used this mount a lot during the summer, I had a lot of these experiences. Other mounts, I'm sure, face similar difficulties. By no means is it a deal breaker. Sometimes all you need to do is spread your jaws open with your fingers. It's not too difficult. br>br>The adjustment collar, which is accessible from the back of the mount, is my least favorite feature of this mount. This collar is designed to be tightened by screwing clockwise and loosening by screwing counterclockwise. You'll need to make a lot of adjustments to get the angle and orientation of your phone just right while sitting in your car seat. This means you'll be using this collar a lot to loosen and tighten the mount until it's just right. Unfortunately, accessing the collar is difficult, and tightening and/or loosening it is even more difficult (especially for larger phones like mine, which weigh more and have a longer length). I discovered that if you loosen the collar just a little, the mount becomes too loose to even let go of, at least with my phone. When you're trying to make fine adjustments (which you are), this is a problem. br>br>Another issue with this collar is that you have to unscrew it to rotate the mount to hold your phone in portrait or landscape mode. As a result, there will be more interaction with this collar screw. After a while, I gave up on trying to rotate my phone to landscape mode and just used it in portrait mode because it was too much effort. the phone should be in the correct position Finally, I wouldn't recommend using the mount in landscape mode for a phone of my size. Because the jaws that hold the phone are lower than the phone's midpoint, the phone shakes a lot while driving in landscape mode. My phone is simply too heavy and long to use in the landscape position with this mount, in my opinion. It does, however, look fantastic in portrait mode. br>br>I'd like to see the collar screw adjustment be finer grained and more accessible (make it larger and easier to grab and rotate), and I'd like to see the mount seat just a little bigger so that the jaws can grab the phone at midpoint, providing a more sturdy grip and reducing the shaking you notice while driving. I suspect this mount would work great with a smaller cell phone. br>br>In general, it's a good product, and I use it on a daily basis with no problems. I left the seat alone once I got the alignment right, and it's still on my vent when I'm not using it.

This phone holder is one of my favorites. I had previously purchased a similar one, but it wasn't quite as good and was more expensive; this one is more stable, and the cradle cushioning is superior. The fast-paced environment The release button is also more effective. br>br>The following are the directions (as summarized in the box): Once the Holder is clipped onto the slat with the Black Screw loosened, the Ball Joint is rotated to get the best angle, and the Black Screw is tightened, the Holder is stable. The phone is placed in the holder, and the side arms are squeezed to secure it. br>br>The following are some of the reasons why I like this holder so much: br>All of the pieces are already in place. br>Clips onto thinner or thicker (vertical or horizontal) vent slats. br>Adjustable angle for optimal phone viewing. br>The phone cradle is adjustable for different phone sizes and includes padding on the sides and bottom prongs. br>A charging cable can be plugged into the phone because there is space between the prongs at the bottom. br>Short-term-term-term-term-term-term-term-term- The phone is released by pressing the release button on the back, which extends the mount's side arms. br>br>After one month of use, the following was added: This holder is still one of my favorites. It has held up well and has stayed put. Every time I get into my vehicle, I use it.

For years, I've considered getting a phone mount for my car, but I've put it off because my previous vehicle had a convenient place to store my phone while driving, as well as a place to prop it up when I needed to use it as a GPS. My new car, on the other hand, lacks all of these features, and I've been thinking about getting a mount for the past month, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money on it. At first, I was dubious about this mount; after all, how good could a $5 mount possibly be? I was concerned that my phone, which I keep in an OtterBox, would not fit in it, or that the mount would become dislodged during my drive. It miraculously holds my phone in place, and even with the additional weight of my case, the mount remains firmly attached to my air vent. For the time being, it appears to be quite durable, but even if it were to break in a year, I believe I would simply replace it with the same one.

When the seat is opened, there is plenty of room for a larger phone. br>br> To secure the phone in this seat, pinch the side closed until it fits snugly. Because of the weight of the phone, I can only install it in the middle section of the air vent (height wise) in my car (Nissan Note). This causes the air vent to sag slightly. Aside from this minor annoyance, the holder is in perfect working order.

The device does not appear to be capable of supporting a large phone. The product does not have a good grip on my vent. Once I've locked my Android Z91 into the vent, it's ready to use. My phone and the device start to fall. br>br>The company sent me a gift card after I wrote the review, which I really appreciate!.
