A steel plate in the shape of a circle and a square should be included in the box. The holder already has a magnet attached to it. It should work perfectly if the plates are attached to the car mount you received.
Hello there, pal: br>Our car phone mount can be used in a vertical position. air vent on the side Thank you for reaching out to me with your query.
Yes, the stem and ball joint connection works well so far, but I don't think the product's integrity will be able to withstand the phone's weight. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone who owns a 2015 Hyundai Sonata or a larger iPhone.
Hello, you should use the sticker plate, which you can stick to the bottom of the phone and which has no effect on your MagSafe.

Because the vents on my car (a Lexus ES350 from 2008) are small and the air flow control knob is right in the middle of the blades, I was unable to secure this mount adequately. This item was returned to me. br>br>Shortly after returning this item, this company contacted me to see if there was anything else they could do. I'm looking for a mount that will hold an iPhone 8 Plus in a protective case and allow me to move it from vehicle to vehicle. They made some recommendations (a CD install mount and a cup phone holder), and then sent me my choice at no cost. This company provides excellent customer service, and the products appear to be of high quality; however, how well they work in your vehicle and its particular setup will be the determining factor.
This device went into my car vent quickly and securely. I was able to adjust it to my liking by turning it. So far, it appears to be long-lasting, but I've only had it for a little more than a week. Regrettably, this could only be a three-season solution. On a particularly chilly ride home from the beach, I had to turn on the heat. Even with the vent closed, the phone became warm during the brief ride. The heat also caused the sticky backing on my phone's metal piece to melt, separating it from my phone and causing it to fall to the floor. This is due to the product's placement rather than the product itself. It's possible that the issue stems from the fact that my car vent does not completely close. I'm going to try it on another vent to see if it has the same problem when the heat is turned on. Overall, it performs better and is less obtrusive than the suction cup model I previously used.
I paid more than twelve dollars for this mount on Amazon. Because this mount had a longer air vent hook to better lock the mount into a car interior dash air vent and was supposed to have strong magnets, I ordered this RAXFLY magnetic phone mount for car. Because I had a metal ring holder on the back of the phone, I needed a magnetic mount. As a result, my old regular mount was no longer compatible with the phone. Unfortunately, the magnets on this mount aren't very powerful - Certainly not as powerful as the magnet in a sound speaker. Some kind of metal(?) is included in the mount. ) stickers to stick on the back of the phone BUT, on the back of my phone, there was already a metal ring holder. The phone kept sliding down on the mount, and the phone could eventually fall to the floor, despite the fact that the mount magnet was reasonably strong. not good. That did not sit well with me. So I cut and bent a piece of metal clothes hanger to hang off the back of the mount, creating a DIY resting spot for the phone. Because the magnets in the mount aren't super strong, the weight of the phone and the bouncing of the car worked against them. The magnets appear to be very strong in the amazon description, but they could be much stronger. If you've ever handled sound speaker magnets, you'll understand what I'm talking about and be disappointed that the magnets on this mount are so small in comparison. Anyway, all you have to do now is add a DIY makeshift seat rest for the phone to sit on, and you're good to go. br>br>Aside from that, this mount is sturdy and will not fall off an air vent. It's just that the magnets aren't particularly strong, so we recommend making and attaching a DIY seat rest for your phone. overall score: br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br Because the magnets aren't strong enough, the rating is reduced to two stars. The hook attachment, at the very least, is long enough to keep the mount in place. However, you will need to make a DIY modification by adding a seat rest to make it better and safer for your phone.
This was purchased to replace one that I had forgotten in a rental car, and it has performed better than the previous one. The previous one was powerful, but this one's magnets are even more powerful, and it's extremely durable. You won't have to worry about your phone falling off when you're going over bumps. The last one had rubber prongs that you squeezed into the vent and it hugged the inside, which worked pretty well, though I had to push it back in quite often. This one takes a little longer to connect to the vent, but once it is, it will not move and you will not have to fidget with it.
This is a great little mount that's also very easy to use. It fits on the majority of our vents, but not all of them. It easily clicks in and out, making it useful for traveling and car swapping. Because the magnets are light and thin, they can be attached to the back of your phone or slipped into your case while still functioning. My phone is quite large, and the magnet is powerful enough to keep it from falling. It can be rotated to give you the desired view. Extra magnets are included, allowing the entire family to use it.
The clip versions were far too flimsy and wouldn't stay in place when I tried them. br>br>With this design, I can clip on the vent fin from behind and tighten it as much as I need. When the phone's weight pushes down on the mount, small fins protrude from the side to keep it from bending. If your case has a metal backplate, the magnets are extremely strong. Perhaps a tad too forceful. I have to pull my phone away from the magnet with enough force that the head moves constantly, implying that it must be re-charged. As a result, instead of 5 stars, I've given it 4 stars.
There are no issues at all. br>br>I live in Chicago, and I've hit a lot of bumps and potholes. My phone only fell out once, when I was driving in a sedan and hit a big deep pothole. It is simple to set up. br>br> It also works with otterbox phones. There were no issues. br>br>I would strongly suggest it.
The sturdiness and strength of this holder came as a pleasant surprise. Normally, the holder must be glued, but this one does not require any effort. br>It was tested with a Samsung Galaxy 20 Ultra and an iPhone Xr, both in an otterbox heavy case.
