You're right, it is just that. In that case, it can't be used as a three-way switch. Turning on the light with a two-way switch is all that it does. Three-way switches turn on the same light when both are pressed at the same time.

The replacement part for a flaky switch in our 1999 Dutch Star was a perfect match. I was able to fix the problem quickly and easily it works quite well Item arrived in a timely manner and it is of good Having spare switches on hand is now more comfortable in case one of them breaks down.
Two of these broke when I was finishing my walls, not because of the switch (wall depth was 1" and I bent the terminals over to make them flush). In light of this, I purchased some JR Products 13605 to fix the problem (it's a wall plate designed to allow more space for thin walls).
It looks just like it came from the manufacturer. My 2007 weekend warrior 3505 LE lost its switch in the bathroom, so I ordered these to fix the problem. I installed these directly as a replacement and they were super easy.
For no measurements, I rated them one star below for no return since I didn't feel like dealing with a return. However, I may have been negligent on my part.
With these switches, the light on my car turns on with one flick of my finger, without any jiggling of the old ones. Smooth switch operation, and exact fit, no more jiggling the old ones, I installed them and the light on my car lit up immediately.
It has taken me three attempts to order the Black/Silver switch and each time I receive After much frustration, I gave up and installed the black/white switch. It does not match the other switches in my TT, but I can live with it.
I measured the product to be the exact size of the rectangular cutout in the base of my RV lamp. It was not possible to fit the switch due to the clip and other plastic protrusions. As soon as I freed the switch of clips and other obstructions, the switch worked perfectly.
I am amazed! In comparison to the original lights in the RV, the switch is much easier to use. It has an amazing light as well. Now that we can see clearly, we feel relieved.
