My answer to this would be no. The hair dryer advertised in this photo has only 200 watts and most hair dryers advertise 900 watts or 1500 watts. Using hair dryers and curling irons would take up a great deal of energy, so I don't think this would be adequate.

My first impression after first using the inverter was that I had bought a very good product. It's made out of a great material and feels great. I tried using it three times, but it gave me a problem on the third. There is no blown fuse in the plug, and there is no blown fuse in my vehicle, so it won't work. The inverter is a turd. It simply does not.
When I opened the box, I was greeted with the smell of burnt eight. When plugged in, it did not work at all. It was well made, but it felt flimsy. No way to do it.
This unit works, and it's quieter than other units of its type. There are tight plug receptacles and the USB ports are in the wrong place, so I sent it back. I tried installing multiple plugs and removing them. For inserting the plug, I needed a good push and for removing them, a vigorous tug while holding the unit in place. Although this might be fine for your purposes, I wanted to tape it in place with foam tape. If you pull uprights all the time you won't be able to do that. Keep it tucked in while off road so it doesn't rattle. A USB port can be found on the back of the device. In this case, we are looking at an issue, because the dimensions will be larger if there are USB cables connected. If the inverter is located in an awkward place, it can be hard to reach them. They should be displayed on the front. I don't understand why you don't. It's true you can flip the unit over, but the 120s are now at the back, so it may or may not matter where you set it up.
I like the fact that this model has a switch between on and off, while the other is always switched on. The latter also features a fan that runs only when necessary. There is a quiet fan that runs constantly on the single outlet. Overall, I am impressed with the features and build quality so far. However, I have not used it very often.
The motor sounds like a fan, so it is not pleasant to hear. In addition, it allows me to charge my phone, tablet, and laptop at the same time. It helps me when I'm on my way to class and my laptop needs to be charged throughout the trip.
My work truck's cigarette lighter is currently charged by this unit so I can use it to charge my cordless battery chargers and my Hundred 10 volt lunch heater. This has been the most helpful app I have ever used and has not drain my battery at all. Despite the truck being off, I keep the light on at all times. However, I have a 3500 HD Chevy work truck with a very large battery, and since my work truck has a large battery, I can't comment on how it would work on a smaller car. However, on my truck at home, it works just fine. In addition to turning on and off, it also has an on or off switch, making it incredibly useful.
I think this is a very well-crafted and thoughtful piece. This device has many safety features to protect the vehicle and any other devices that may be attached Despite its smooth and solid appearance, the metal housing feels sturdy and solid. This unit stays cool, even if you don't take your phone to the road, and even if you don't need multiple plugs, it can be a great addition to ANY mobile phone charger As an example. If you are looking for an inverter or if you need extra USB ports, this product is highly recommended.
I found this to be the best purchase on the trip, after snacks! The trip had 2 adults and 2 teens, so we were all able to keep our phones charged and I was able to work on my laptop while sitting front passenger for 20 and a half hours.
