The antenna itself is extremely light, feels like cheap plastic, and weighs next to nothing, which concerned me when I first opened the box. The assembly was very simple; it came with "English" written instructions, and there are YouTube videos of people putting it together if you prefer to watch rather than read. The reception quality on such a small piece of equipment astounded me. It comes with a motor and a remote control so you can aim your antenna remotely, but honestly, once you figure out which way to aim it, you won't need to fiddle around because, as I mentioned, 75 channels of perfect HD quality with no stutter or lag 85 miles outside of city limits. It claims to have a range of 150 miles, but I couldn't tell you if that was true or not. However, I read a few other reviews and people who live further away from me get about the same amount of channels with perfect reception, so it works perfectly for me at the range I am at. It's 4k ready for when HD fades away and they start broadcasting in 4k, but that's still a few years away, so it's future proof if that's important to you. I recommend fastening the unit at your home's highest point for best reception, and because it's so light weight, do whatever you think is necessary to keep it from flying away during a storm. Overall, I am not dissatisfied with this purchase, especially given the low price I paid. The device is in perfect working order. The unit has a RED light that must be illuminated in order for it to receive signal. If it's not glowing, double-check that everything is in the right place. Easy to put together, easy to install, excellent reception, and no issues that I've encountered, despite the unit's light weight, but that's just my opinion.

I used to use one of those cheap black flat indoor antennas with four stars. I assumed that the positive feedback meant that they are effective. Wrong! I purchased three different ones and tried each one. They were kept in a window in my attic. To put it to the test, I went outside the window. I double-checked that I was 100% in line with the tower. No matter what OTA channels appeared in my AirTV setup, they all had a red signal (weak signal). They'd either look bad or not load at all half of the time. I bought it, put it up in my attic, and every channel is full strength green! Amazing! I was worried that because it's an outdoor antenna, it wouldn't work in my attic, but it works perfectly!.
