Your TV will not work without a digital to analog converter if it was manufactured prior to June 12, 2009. Here's how it works: The FCC mandated that television stations stop transmitting analog signals (the ones they've been using since televisions were invented) and begin transmitting only digital signals on the above date. They made the change to free up more bandwidth for other purposes. However, HD has no bearing on this. Your television is already digital if it can receive a High Definition (HD) signal. (HD was not available in analog signals.)
The TV towers must be aligned with this antenna. In my case, they were mounted at a 450-degree angle, which I couldn't do. br>Also, in my area, two major TV stations were moved to the VHF band, which this antenna does not work well with. Overall, this product did not meet my expectations, and I returned it.
Some TVs have built-in buttons for changing the station, input, and volume, but changing the TV channels with a wireless remote is the best option.
Even though it is not required for the antenna, I require the internet for communication. I do, however, require access to the internet. The antenna is there to save money, and I've yet to see how having or not having the internet affects the total cost.

Lady who knows nothing about computers. Setup is as simple as 1, 2, and 3. There is a video available. The picture quality is excellent, and there are no cable costs. At the moment, I have 29 channels. My only regret is that I squandered a lot of money on cable for so long. This is an unbiased review for which I was not compensated in any way. I'm blown away by the quality of this product. Without a doubt, 5 stars!.
This antenna came up when I was looking for a Mohu. I didn't realize I'd made a mistake until after I'd received it, but I decided to give it a shot anyway. I'm in a good mood right now. I can clearly receive 40 channels as well as a few radio stations for half the cost of a Mohu antenna!.
I didn't have any channels before I purchased this. Now I have a total of 20 channels available to me. CBS, NBC, and FOX are my top three. They appear in crisp, high-definition format. Now I have access to a large number of college and NFL football games. It was simple to put together and looks great; it was well worth the money!.
It arrived in a very short amount of time. It's very simple to set up and comes with step-by-step instructions. It took me ten minutes to set everything up.
