Questions & Answers

Can this be connected to a USB port?

Thank you for reaching out, KT. Featuring 6 rotating outlets and 2 stationary but no USB ports, this outlet has 6 rotating outlets and 2 stationary. There is also 2160J of power protection offered by this device. In order to offer you something with a USB port, I recommend our ASB41 which comes with 4 outlets and 2 USB ports with surge protection up to 1080J. You should be able to use this now. I want to plug a TV and an air conditioner into the same surge power source. Is it possible?

I think so. The amount of juice required by the TV and air conditioner in separate instances would depend on their respective power needs, and then ultimately how much power the outlet could handle There was a circuit that shared the same outlet as my computer (+ speakers, shredder, etc.) and TV in my office, along with one set of outlets in the family room, kitchen and living room (that's weird). In the summer, the window air conditioner had to be used when our air conditioner broke down. Usually, I put the computer and A/C in one circuit. After that, I normally get another of these protectors that has 8 ft of cord to connect the TV, printer, nightstand, and the other includes box, DVD, vendor box. 1) I love them so much! As a Christmas present, I will give one to each of my bosses. There will never be a time when I Here are the specs for the device The Nerdy Stuff - Protection against surges up to 144,000A or 6KV •2160J Surge Protection with Max Spike Current 164,640A or 6.2KV •Electrical Rating A 15A, 120VAC model with a built-in circuit breaker. Do you think this would work ?

Is it possible to extend the cord's length by connecting it to an extension cord?

If you want to distribute the power strip over a wider area, you can connect it to an extension cord. We should make sure that the devices we are connecting to the strip, the extension cord, and the circuit are not exceeding their electrical rating.

They have a very functional design and have a great style
3/5

These are two of the units I have. They have a very functional design and have a great style. Many of the days I spend out of the house are spent unplugging most of my non-essential devices For the smart devices to function, the modem, wifi router, and other hubs must be on. I have a brand new Echogear power strip that powers all of these devices. There is doubt as to whether the strip is at fault, but none of the devices appear to have been completely protected. To replace the internet connection set, I had to spend $350. It's not clear what the protection and ground led indicator lights indicate, but they are still on. In my opinion, we need to do a more thorough research for a more robust system that includes expensive and critical Here is a link to some helpful information.

I feel a bit better now
3/5

While it is a great idea, things can come unplugged too easily because there isn't enough tension in the sockets. EDITOR'S NOTE In an effort to fix the issue, the company contacted me very quickly and sent me a replacement. Compared to the old unit, the new one is better at tensioning sockets. I have received fantastic customer service.

There was a potential fire hazard with this product
3/5

The product was wonderful, but today there was a large spark and power was cut out in most parts of my home. There was something very troubling going on here I don't know if it was a defect.

The power I was using was so inefficient that I had to replace all of it
4/5

It's finally here! The power strip/surge protector has multiple outlets so I can actually use every outlet! This power strip was so good I replaced all of my existing power strips with it. Further, I ordered two more to take with me on In recent years, my wife and I have charged our devices while traveling. The outlets within two differ from time to time, but most of the time, they cannot be found in one. We now always take two of these power strips with us on trips. We begin plugging into the hotel power strip as soon as we arrive. The power strip (last packed, first out) usually finds the wall, and we are always forced to plug in our lamp into the power strip. As far as I'm aware, however, some of the power packs (wall warts) fall out, leading me to rate it as 4 stars instead of 5 stars. The possibilities are varied and something to keep in mind when deciding what to place It is possible for the power pack to slip if it is too heavy or elongated. Be sure to place the power pack against the floor so that it rests on it. Definitely worth the price!.

This is an old problem solved in a new way! Since I bought a power strip surge protector several years ago, I've kept them
5/5

I recall there being none when I was a child. Some extension cords were available, and there were a few outlets per room, but the need for electricity per room was generally low. During the last few years, customers began to demand more outlets for computers, monitors, lighting, printers, and other necessities for a functional home office station. Power strips became essential for a functional home office station. When surge protectors appeared on power strips, they demanded power strips. With the Echogear surge protector I have found it to be perfect! It is of substantial construction and not flimsy. There is a heavy duty electrical cord that is longer than most. The power strip itself has outlets that twist so that it can accommodate several A place for different configurations of plugs without interfering with each other is provided by this feature. Now you don't have to worry about plugs that are too wide or too big blocking access to all the outlets. Simply twist each socket from one side to the other and everything is accessible. There have been a number of instances where this type of strip has been used, but none were as functional or versatile It will not be the last time I order from you. No, I am not a paid reviewer, I am a regular customer and am pleased to present a product that I find so useful. Your needs will be met as well, I'm sure.

This is a fantastic design! I'm in love with Getting rid of the bulky, pesky power converters is made easier with the pivoting outlets
5/5

Previously I had two power strips and an extension cord, but now I have just one power distribution system. My before and after photos can be found here. You should note In the after photo, you can see the power cord portion wrapped in a big bundle, since the wall outlet is so close to the power strip and my objective was to get all cords off the floor (to make it easier for me This item DOES NOT include any cable wraps or mounting hardware.

A rotating pair of receptacles is the reason I purchased the item
3/5

The chances are probably high. A rotating pair of receptacles is the reason I purchased the item. The items that were plugged in would not stay plugged in, they kept falling out of the sockets, so I used it to attach laptop computers and other items that had large conversion plugs. So, for my application, this was not a good idea.

The answer I had been looking for
5/5

In this case, I selected the surge protector because I was connecting a number of electronic components in a fairly small space (a shelf in a bookcase). The plugs on some of these components are quite large. With this situation, one is generally left with the choice of choosing a wide protector, which was not an option in this application, or skipping sockets altogether. In this case, ECHOGEAR's rotating plug configuration solved the problem. As a result, I was able to rotate the plugs so that these large adaptors could be placed It was exactly what I was looking for. Here are a few points to consider regarding build quality. This is a remarkable piece of writing. I'd like to hope that I never have to use the surge protection, but considering what I see, I have confidence it will work well.
