Questions & Answers

What type of plug does this have? Is it flat or right angle? How do I find the model ?

The surge protector I purchased from APC called the Power Strip Surge Protector (PE66W, 1080 Joules, 6 Outlet Surge Strip, White/Green with 6' cord, White/Green) has a flat plug There is no explanation for why APC does not document or illustrate this in their photo. I expected it to be available! It is not uncommon for the power cord to come out of the flat plug of power strips at a

Can it be used with either 220 or 110 volt power?

There are 110 volts

Do you have protection against more than one surge without needing to reset the device? The power may continue to flow without interruption after the surge, but the device is not protected until it is ?

Despite the advertised clamping voltage of 330v, the clamping voltage certified and stamped on the unit is 500v. Considering my lack of expertise, I am doubtful that it could protect you from the first surge or any subsequent ones. It is not a good choice for me.

Can you tell me how long the cord is?

By ordering by cord length, you can choose from the following options When you place your order, you have to select it. You can click on some of the links - On the order screen, you will see the following buttons You can select your desired length by clicking on it. A 6' cord will be delivered if you click on '6' cord', a 12' cord will be delivered if you click on '12' cord' or whatever cord you click.

A nice unit at a great price Indicator for ground light that is defective, but costs a lot
3/5

It follows that The APC PE76W (white) and PE76 (black) 7-inch touchscreens are the latest models I purchased I bought outlet surge protectors to replace old ones I could no longer trust. The recommendations I have read say to replace them once or twice a year. It is hard to believe that the PE76 and PE76W are the same thing. By extending and offsetting the plugs at the end, you can enjoy a good-looking connection Ensure that the power brick is the right size (aka wall wart) so that the other outlets are not blocked. An angle of 90 degrees It is possible to plug this unit in behind tall bookcases or drawers due to its degree plug. It appears to be a high-quality cord and is quite long. There is one issue I have with the ground lights on all five of them, which began to flicker or just went You can view a video of the issue I am experiencing on my YouTube channel. It was fairly quick for some people to start doing it Some people experienced the issue right away, while others waited a month or two. A circuit tester was used to test the circuit (both in the surge protector and in the wall) and the circuit appeared to be fine. Though these units come with a lifetime warranty, I don't think getting a replacement would solve the problem, nor do I think it is necessary. In fairness, I have had one other surge protector with flickering LEDs that was not an APC brand, and that was not a few years ago, and most of them have not had this issue as well, so I believe this is a production As a person, I'm not worried about the ground, but I can see how it might cause concern for The LEDs for the protection are intermittent on the unit in the video below as well, as shown in the video below. In light of the fact that surge protectors do not "heal" themselves, the problem is clearly with the light and not with It turns out there is no guarantee that will always be the case. So I tossed it out and replaced it with.

I give it 5 stars
5/5

This afternoon, I was struck by lightning. A satellite receiver, a DVD player, and a Blu-ray player were lost I keep my wireless router, cable modem, and one of my in-home computers all connected to my Wi-Fi network There are equalizers on the customized channels A speaker system was built. In addition, there are two surge protectors from a local dollar store. There was no downtime of any kind for anything connected to these APC surge protectors. If I replace laptops, printers, and TVs, I may be doing so to reduce the cost. Here is the Yamaha electric piano that my daughter has.
That is an awesome product APC, I am proud of you. I was able to save THOUSANDS of dollars as a result of your efforts. The signatory is a rural Georgian.

It has a high quality and features you won't find in other surge protectors in a similar price range
5/5

It is important to compare surge protectors within similar price ranges, especially when comparing them of the same amount. * This is the best surge protector available at its price range by a long shot. Compared to my other Belkin surge protector, here are the things I like It is a peace of mind for me
but I don't like it
but I don't like it

[-] As other reviewers have stated, there is a problem with the ground light, but I do not consider this a huge deal breaker as long as the protection light works*[-] There should have been 1 or 2 USB outlets added, but that would probably drive up the price point, so this is not a deal breaker for me personally. I don't know why, but you can't find surge protector strips with keyholes in the back anymore. The power strips I used to use back in the day had keyholes in their back so that you could either mount them on a wall or secure them against something so that they would not move when you plugged and unplugged them. The APC surge protector is a bit more expensive than the Belkin model, but you get a lot more features and a better quality output for that price difference, and the biggest benefit is the peace of mind it provides. In conclusion, I would like to emphasize the following I rate this product as 5 out of 5. This book is highly.

As soon as I got my first power, I did not protect my stuff
3/5

My first power surge was not protected, and APC would not respond about their equipment replacement policy. I ended up with no power strip to spare. I would not recommend this.

As far as I can tell, everything is going well
4/5

There is an odd angle in the way the cord emerges from the plug. If I had known this before purchasing, I would not have purchased In my case, the left side of the cord is necessary because of placement of the outlets. As far as I can tell, everything is going well.

Often on sale for *$10 - *********, the PE6U2 is a good surge protector (500v protection rating), and it provides convenient charging via USB
4/5

There is much to be said. The American Planning Conference 6 The surge protector has a 1080 joule capacity with USB ports, SurgeArrest (PE6U2)
I purchased two of them The price is $9 for 11. One was purchased on 2018-08-18 and one was purchased on 2019-08-18 There is a net price of $10 for item 02 on the order form. After the coupon, the price is 87. Across all 3 conductor pairs (Line to Neutral, Line to Ground, Neutral to Ground), this product has a Voltage Protection Rating (VPR) of 500 Volts. There are also surge protectors with 600 and 800 volt ratings, but that's not as good as the best 400 V ratings I've seen (I've seen 600 and 800 V ratings too). The lower the number, the better. The back of the product does not contain a sticker that states that it has been independently tested for compliance with UL 1449, so I assumed it is just intended to operate at 500 V level as According to the instructions on the back of the box, APC recommends letting A through voltage (ANSI C62) is required. In order to determine a surging suppressor's performance, follow step 41. The sentiment is shared by me. Let's get started With the release of UL 1449 3. 0 in September 2009, the term "through voltage" was renamed to "VPR. ". As I understand it, a low let would be good for the economy Having a considerable voltage through or VPR voltage is more important than having a very high Joule rating in a surge suppressor, but in the current marketing trend, this and other models fail to advertise this important feature. The cord is 6' long with a low-profile plug Having a right angle plug is good from a profile perspective. A total of 1080 Joules should be enough, in my opinion. We guarantee our products for life. This is a Chinese product. I have repeatedly used the USB charging ports of my phone for more than five months now without any Sometimes, I charge my tablet at the same time as one of my smartphones. The price will be a good deal if / when it drops to $10! I am very satisfied with the product. It was deducted 1 star for not promoting the 500 V rating, and for the apparent lack of independent lab testing to verify it as per the UL1449 standard.
