Only a horizontal installation is possible with this bracket. The two pins sewed into the back of the speaker engage in the oblong holes in the bracket and are held in place by gravity. The speaker will not be held in place if the bracket is mounted vertically.
I don't see why you couldn't use a brick drill bit and brick mounting anchors to do it.
The product is made to work with the Bose SOLO 5 speaker system.
Hello, I believe the sound bar is the only device that the mount is compatible with. I hope this information is useful.

It's been a long time since I've been this excited about writing a review, but I recently purchased this product to mount my Bose Solo 5 sound bar beneath my flat panel on the wall. Mounting instructions, a wall bracket, studs with bolts that attach to the back of the sound bar, a magnetic bubble level, an allen wrench, and wall mounting screws with drywall anchors are all included in the box. Using this simple bracket, I was able to mount my Bose sound bar on the wall in less than 10 minutes. The only thing missing from the instructions was a minor detail about the drill bill size for drywall anchors, which was not difficult to figure out. The bracket, once installed, makes it simple to attach and remove the sound bar in order to access the wiring if necessary. I wish that every company took this much pride in their products and paid such close attention to the smallest details.
I'm happy with this mount despite the "inch clearance for bass port spec" line. I'm fortunate enough to still be working during Corona's reign, but my newly-arrived coworkers aren't so fortunate. work that has been designated from- The interior of the house was in desperate need of some TLC. I'm also fortunate enough to be able to make a few minor improvements right now: a low-cost 4k "monitor" (the smallest, cheapest, open-source monitor available) boxed- Best Buy had a factory refurbished Vizio UHD TV and a factory refurbished Bose Solo 5. br>br>After mounting the screen, I initially decided not to mount the Bose because it is so small and there wasn't much usable space to gain in the first place. Then I realized that the thick cable from my Corsair keyboard had to go around or over the Bose, and this was interfering with the IR signal from the remote (which is required because this soundbar lacks any buttons). br>br>I decided to use this SoundBass mount to raise the soundbar off the desk by about 3", which was enough to feed the keyboard cable underneath and also allows me to slide the keyboard under the soundbar flush to the wall, freeing up a lot of desk space. I messed up the size of the hole for the drywall anchor and it just pulled right out, so I didn't use the included hardware, so I can't say whether it's good or bad. br>br>In natural fashion, I messed up the size of the hole for the drywall anchor and it just pulled right out, so I didn't use it. Instead, I used some small toggle bolts that I had leftover from another project (I've always had better luck with toggle bolts and have more confidence in them). I was able to get the mount up on the wall in just a few minutes by carefully measuring distances, locating the television's midpoint, and marking everything out. It took a few attempts to get the Bose properly seated, but once it did, it seemed to be completely secure. To re-install the mount, I had to loosen one screw. Things were leveled so that everything appeared to be in order. Now, if I were you, I wouldn't pull on the soundbar or place anything on top of it, but I don't think it'll go away. It helps that the soundbar has no buttons, so there's no need to touch it, but I did notice that Bose chose a straight plug for the AC adapter, which is a mistake given that this bar is meant to be wall-mounted. mounted. A 90- Because the cord must bend down at least slightly once the bar is so close to the wall, a degree plug would probably last longer. br>br>When mounted, the Solo 5's 1" of clearance behind the bar allows the bass port to function, and everything sounds good for a desktop soundbar, which is where this speaker seems to get the best reviews. br>br>If it all falls apart (the soundbar, not society), I'll update this review (while deducting a few stars in the process). Don't pay the outrageous $24 for this speaker when there are plenty of mounting options on Amazon and "the bay. " 99 Bose has made a request for their metal hunk.
The clarity of the instructions and layout of the packaging wowed me from the moment I opened the box. This speaker mount was incredibly simple to put together, and the components are of excellent quality. They're well-made and appear to last a long time. You did an excellent job!.
Almost everything you'll need is included in the kit, including an Allen wrench for mounting screws in the back, a level to make sure everything is level, and wall anchors and screws. The first anchor broke during installation (see photos), and because the anchors are metric, I had to use a metric drill. It should have worked if it had been 2" bigger. The second anchor went in without a hitch, so I'm guessing the first one was bad. The level is useful, but it has a thin magnetic strip on the underside that prevents it from being magnetized to anything. It does have a top lip that protrudes just enough to allow you to place the bubble in the middle if you don't jar it. The drill size for the anchors was not specified, which would have been useful. If drilling into a stud, I would not use their suggestion of punching holes in the wall; instead, drill them. If drilling into a stud, make sure the drill is no larger than the inside diameter of the threads on the mounting screws you use. Because I only caught one stud on the other end, I had to use one anchor. Once the anchor was in place, it was extremely tightened. The finished unit looks fantastic above my television on the wall; The remote requires a "line of sight," so you can't put it behind the TV. The instructions were adequate, but there were some grammatical errors and misspelled words, which always makes me nervous. br>The bracket is clearly labeled UP on each end so you can install it in the proper orientation, which was helpful because I had it installed upside down at first! br>Overall, I was very pleased with the Bracket system's ease of use and sturdiness, and I would purchase it again.
When trying to tighten the provided anchor screws, they simply stripped out the inside of the anchors. This kit is well worth the money; it looks great (when mounted, it is hidden behind the soundbar) and appears to be well-built. The soundbar is easy to install and remove from the mount.
It also includes a washer to ensure that the Bose Solo 5's sound quality is maintained. If this is your first time installing one of these, start with the horizontal screw and work your way up to the vertical one to make sure it's level. br>br>I'm going to hide these cords as my next project.
