Questions & Answers
You have the option of mounting it up or down while still having access to the other outlet.
Because of the way the plug is mounted inside the bracket, the answer is no. It isn't a good design at all. Once you connect your Alexa to it, it muffles the sound. The volume AND clarity of the sound are both reduced by half.
The mounting bracket can accommodate any 3rd generation dot. AND, as long as the GFCI outlet plate looks like a standard outlet cover, it should work fine; however, if the outlet cover has any kind of weatherproofing cover over it, it may not seat properly. Because I had to make an allowance for the thickness of my kitchen backsplash, I had to adjust how the wall plug mounted in the holder stood on my installation. With a dab of superglue, I simply tacked the two pieces together.
That's a question I can't answer because I don't have a 4th edition to try to fit it into. Sorry

This Amazon Echo Dot wall mount is simple to set up and works well. It elevates your Echo Dot from the counter, freeing up space and making it more appealing. It has no effect on the microphone picking up what you're saying, and it has no effect on the speaker's sound quality. It's beautiful to look at, and it's also functional. br>br>I would strongly recommend it because the price was reasonable and the quality was excellent. br>br>I hope this information is useful in making your purchase.
It's simple to use and has a nice look to it. The disadvantages: br>br> In the low and mid range frequency ranges, there is a noticeable difference in sound quality. Things to keep in mind: br>br> This product is something I would recommend, and the two-pack is particularly appealing. I have a total of five dots on my finger. Yes, there are five of them, and they work well in a lot of situations. I ended up purchasing a total of four. There will be a small "extra cord" that must be pushed into the connection but does not obstruct operation. Improvements: br>br> The product should include small adhesive bumpers to place on the bottom of the mount to prevent it from leaning against the wall (if that is a concern, as it is in my case). br>br>I only give 5 stars when I have had contact with the seller, company, or customer service, so this product is excellent.
I despise seeing cords, and extension cords irritate me even more. This is a brilliant holder! The image speaks for itself! Simply brilliant!.
There are no wires, no clutter, and the dot is mounted against the wall, away from the desk/table/counter. It looks fantastic, and the cable management is brilliant, obliterating every last inch of cord for a super-clean installation. Furthermore, getting four brackets for only 13 dollars is unbeatable; it covered all three of my dots, and I still have one spare in case I need to replace, gift, or add one if I get another echo dot. Also, this is a fantastic addition for the kids' room to get rid of all the wires; let's face it, teenagers' rooms are a disaster most of the time. It fits the kids dot device perfectly, just like the original, and allows you to add an echo dot to any room that doesn't have a table. Stop thinking and start clicking until you reach the end of the checkout process.
Other reviews expressed concerns about the impact on sound quality and whether or not it would fall off the outlet. I was unconcerned about neither, but I could see how these could be considered complaints. br>br>The issue with sound is that it is directed in a vertical circle up, down, and around parallel to the wall rather than outwards (or bouncing outwards) away from the wall when it is hung on the wall. I've included a short video that demonstrates perfectly acceptable sound that can easily be made louder or softer using the /- key. buttons. br>br>As for the assembly vibrating off (or simply falling off) the outlet it's plugged into, I'd blame it on poor outlet quality - Certainly not the plastic mount, which adds only a few grams to the Echo Dot's overall weight. In my case, it fits snugly and firmly in all of the Lutron wall outlets I tried, but that could be due to the fact that these outlets are relatively new, having been installed during a renovation seven years ago. br>br>In fact, the only flaw - and this is a minor one - is that As a result, it received one star for ease of installation - is that no matter which way you spiral wrap the wire, you get an unattractive bump. out. Either the last part of the wire crosses over the spiral, or the spiral crosses over the first part of the wire; I chose the latter so that the spiral loops snugly hold the first part in place, but I still wish a channel had been provided to avoid the bump-out. out. Look at the image.
It accomplishes its goal of keeping the echo dot out of the way, but it has a significant negative impact on sound quality. Any sound coming from the device is muffled while in the holder. Another issue I have is that the holder tends to fall out of the plug, and the only way to keep it from falling out is to tape it against the wall. It saddened me greatly to see that I was the only person who had these issues out of all the photo and written reviews for this item. br>The only reason I haven't returned this item yet is that it does exactly what I wanted it to do: it keeps the echo dot off the table and out of the way.
It's straightforward, and it eliminates one item from my kitchen counter. It was an excellent value! I can't say enough good things about it!.
What exactly are your responsibilities? br>br>The correct answer is that you either don't get one or that you get one after making room. The incorrect response is that you wall-mount one of these. mount it. On the plus side, they're incredibly simple to use and save a lot of space. But that's it, because they completely degrade the Echo Dot's functionality. br>br>The Echo Dot generates sound using a bottom-up approach. speaker is being fired; Out the bottom, rather than the sides. Looking at the profile of this product, you can see that it cups the bottom and partially the sides of the Dot to keep it in place. I don't think there's any other way to keep it safe, but that's where the flaw lies. If you listen to music through this, it sounds like it's coming from a shoe box, because the plastic housing is clamping over the pathways through which sound would escape. I can't imagine anyone preferring the sound of this attached to that of the other. on its own. It's possible that I only knew what it "should" sound like because I already have one on my nightstand, but the moment I turned on one with the bracket, it was clear that I'd made a huge mistake. br>br>As I previously stated, this is an inherently flawed product because I'm not sure how you could do what this product does without sacrificing sound quality. If you only want to use Alexa for timers, weather, reminders, smart home control, and so on, a Dot is the way to go. If that's the case, I'm sure this will suffice. But if you wanted to use it for music as well, I would 100% avoid getting this product.
