This Stand Doesn't. I read several reviews of other stands for the Echo 5 before purchasing this one. To keep the Echo in place, the majority of them used a clip mechanism. place. This seemed like the better option at first, but many reviewers were dissatisfied with the sound quality impact. I persisted in my search. br>br>Because it magnetically attaches to the bottom of the Echo, this stand offered an alternative. My only concern was whether or not that attachment was strong enough to prevent the Echo from slipping or falling off while adjusting its position. No worries, thanks to a strong magnet and a raised notch that fits into a similarly sized indentation in the Echo's base, it sticks firmly and stays in place. place. br>br>It also has a nice base that allows me to reposition the Echo, which is my alarm clock, for easier viewing. Finally, when it is lifted off the surface of the nightstand, the sound output may be slightly improved. br>br>I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone considering an Echo 5 stand.

Check out the entire review here.   This was a stand that I really wanted to like. The magnet and the bottom of the stand disappointed me, but it's still a much better product than the plastic one. UPDATE: 10- 19 The seller sent me another one, and the bottom now has a nice rubber bottom. The magnet is more powerful than the one before it. I am overjoyed! What a difference! For the Echo Show 8, I'm using this stand! It's fantastic!.

Very strict. It's a good solid stand that sits slightly higher than the OEM (as seen in the photo), which is why I bought it. I like it, but I'm still undecided about whether I prefer it to the OEM. br>br>It has a lot more range of motion than the OEM stand, but it's also very stiff and difficult to move. It's not a big deal, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

This was purchased to complement my wife's white echo show 5. I've had it for nearly a month now. My advantages and disadvantages are listed below. Advantages: br>br> br>* solid base constructionbr>* magnet is fairly strong (the base remains attached when gently lifting the echo)br>* full tilt motion is sufficient for my needs (- / degrees is excellent)br>* tilt adjustment is firm and there is no driftingbr>* looks great even with the white displaybr>br>br>Cons: br>* Tilting can cause the base to detach, so be careful when doing so. br>* circular grips on the bottom rather than the full base grip as advertised. br>* base scratches end table surface when sliding or being placed downbr>* heavybr>br>Overall, I believe we would have liked this base more if it had the full grippy bottom. It's not enough to keep it from sliding around when touched as it is now with the grippy circles. Regrettably, he will most likely return.

This is the collection of mine. My most recent purchase was the Echo 5 Shows, which I absolutely adore. Still, something was missing, and that something was a five-star stand. The Echo is held in place by a strong magnet and is solid and attractive. The color, as well as the ability to tilt, shift, and spin 360 degrees, are all appealing to me. To prevent drift, the ball and socket design is as tight as it needs to be. The only reason for the reduction is that I agree with previous reviewers that a stand should have been included with the initial purchase. Of course, how can a multibillion-dollar company make money if it doesn't sell accessories? I would recommend this stand over the Amazon model. This stand, as far as I can tell, improves the sound quality, but the best feature is the ability to adjust it to your line of sight. BUY!.

However, the magnet is powerful. I spent far too much time agonizing over which Echo Show 5 stand to purchase before settling on this one. I apologized when I received it. I don't mind it, but it's extremely stiff and difficult to adjust, particularly up and down. Even when the unit is tilted all the way down, the magnet is strong enough to keep it in place. But adjusting it is such a pain. br>br>In addition, there are only six small felt dots on the bottom. I saw pictures of a full felt bottom on this site, but that is not what I received. As a result, whatever it's resting on could be scratched by this stand. I'm going to go get some more dots and try not to scratch my table. But, as much as I dislike this stand, I'm growing to like it. I like how it securely holds the Echo Show and raises it to a good height. I appreciate how powerful the magnet is and how small the footprint is. I'll keep it, but I prefer my Echo Show 8 stand, which has a super easy swivel and a sleek black appearance. Although it is made of plastic, it is very durable. Because a Show 5 stand isn't available, I'll keep the one I have and hope that it loosens up a little with use so that I can tilt it in the direction I want without having to struggle.

There's nothing but metal here. It rotates completely around the axis of rotation. It tilts backwards and forwards, and it's extremely well-made, and it's a perfect match for the new Echo Show 5. It costs the same as the one made of plastic. For the new show 5, it's a nice, sturdy stand. Did I mention that it's entirely made of metal? I'm glad I waited until this one hit the shelves.

It accomplishes all of its objectives, but I wish it could be raised to a higher height. However, doing so would weaken it. The camera location on the Echo Show isn't ideal. This isn't a fault of the stand. We use the Echo Show to keep an eye on our house while we're away, as well as check in on our pets. While you can tilt the Echo with this stand, you'll have to tilt it straight down to see our dogs in their kennel and then re-tilt it to see them. If you want to use it for something else or see the screen when you get home, adjust it when you get home. br>Again, this is a problem with the item it is holding rather than the stand; the stand appears to be sturdy enough, appears to be holding my device ok with the magnetic attachment on the bottom, swivels as stated, and has small rubber(? ) dots on the bottom to keep it from moving around, though a good jostle would almost certainly knock it over.
