Being able to plug in another device beneath it was a deal-breaker for me. Plus, unlike other products, it comes with its own adapter built right into the holder, so I didn't have to wrangle the wire around in a ring. Everything appears to be in place. We'll be getting three more in the near future! I included photographs to demonstrate the back and design.
(You don't need a cord; you can keep it and use it elsewhere if you need it later. ) )br>br>If you don't have a Google Hub in your kitchen already, this is a great way to get one. speaker that is small This one was used to put a speaker in my living room. br>br> It's hidden (near the tv console on the floor), but G hears me when I ask for something, and the sound quality is excellent. (Puppy can't chew on these and ruin them. ) )br>br>I anticipate buying more as stocking stuffers.
I bought this to mount my Google Home in the kitchen, which I use as a timer and to listen to music while I cook and clean. I have a problem with the reset button on one of the outlets in my tiny apartment kitchen. When my boyfriend used that outlet, he was constantly pressing reset, knocking out several outlets on the same breaker, including my turtle tank, which required almost daily reboots of their automated timer/light setup. I was losing my mind. All of that was solved by this teeny-tiny device! This is without a doubt one of the best purchases I've made in the last few years. It's the perfect fit for the Google Home, and it hides the annoying little reset button! I've never been more pleased with a piece of technology.
I don't know about you, but I thought the power cord that came with the mini was flimsy. If I shifted it, it would restart. However, not only does this holder provide a secure connection, but it also eliminates the need for long wires, making the mini almost unnoticeable when plugged in. My wife and children mistook me for someone who had gotten rid of ours. Now I play hide-and-seek with the kids, and they have to run around saying "Okay Google" to find it. To really annoy them, I'm going to have to change the activation phrase. Hey, there are some simple pleasures to be found in parenting and adulting.
It sat in my cart for a while, despite the fact that this little holder was on sale, because it required you to wind the cord. As if Amazon knew I wasn happy to hit "Add to Cart", as I scrolled, this magical little little thing came up. There was no need to coil a wire; in fact, it didn't want you to use it at all! WHAT? Stop it. I added this bad boy to my cart faster than my Australian Shepherd Opie snatches items from our counter, so if you think you deserve better, and believe me, you do, click on the item. Then go out and buy this incredible little gadget that you probably didn't realize you needed. There's no need to be concerned about the lack of a cord. It's just a small Google speaker that hangs from your outlet. WINNING without the use of a wire.
Great product! Fits snugly in outlet and works well with upright facing outlets; I'm sure it would work with horizontal outlets as well, but the device would be horizontal. We ordered two, only to discover that they will only work with speakers that have a mini usb port, not the audio plug-like ones found on the Nest edition speakers. in any case. When I need it, I can go to Google in my garage. I'm loving it because I don't have to use my hands.
This is a fantastic concept. It saves space on the surface and eliminates the need for a second cable. br>br>However, it does not work as well in practice. It is constantly leaning out of the socket to the point where it appears to be about to fall off. I tried it on other outlets, thinking it was just a "loose" socket, but it had the same result. br>br>However, the foundation appears to be well-made. The materials are pleasant to the touch and have a solid feel to them. br>br>While the "loose" socket setup hasn't prevented the mount from being used, it does raise the possibility that it will fall out at some point.
So far, everything has gone well. At least one cord that runs across multiple floors should be removed. It does take up some room, so you may need to rearrange what else is plugged into the same outlet, but it's well worth it.
