It's a good product. The angel is fine, but the base was a little light, and I felt the angle could have been better. If you want to mount it somewhere lower, this is the way to go. I have several Alexas on shelves that are just above eye level or slightly higher, and because this holder only had an upward angle, Alexa had a harder time understanding me than with other holders I own. It would be beneficial to add more weight to the base. When I tried to tilt Alexa down further, it tipped over a few times. I believe the concept is sound, but it could be improved. The part that holds Alexa is fantastic, in my opinion - Soft, flexible pads that grip your Alexa without damaging it. It didn't work for me, but I see how it could work for others. It's entirely up to you where you want to put Alexa.
Instead of aiming the Echo Dot at the ceiling, I was able to place it on a high shelf and angle it toward me thanks to the stand. It's strong enough to hold the Dot in place.
