I have mine set up on a washboard and it works great. It was simple to secure it at the bottom. I'm not sure where you'd put it on the djembe.
Gretsch, Tama, and Ludwig have all had them clipped. They perform admirably.
Yes, it's a good fit!
It includes three soft bags, each holding one microphone and clamp.

In terms of quality, what else do you need to know? br>br>However, there is one major flaw with the microphone's mounting. The clip was created with traditional drum rims in mind. This clip is what I'm currently using for my congas. The "traditional drum rim" is on one, while the "comfort rim" is on the other, which is patented by LP. The clip does not fit well because of the comfort. The problem can be solved with a little gaffer's tape, but the buyer should be aware of the mounting problem. br>br>Excellent microphone, but be aware of potential mounting issues.

Tom mics with a profile. I'm a big fan of these microphones. I purchased the three-pack. Because that's the typical number of toms on a drum set, you'll need a pack. They have a very low profile, and they even clip onto the rack mount toms suspension mounts, which I was concerned about. To me, the sound is quite neutral.
The attachment mechanism is small and compact, and it functions well. Because this is a budget microphone with a budget price tag, don't expect stellar sound quality. In comparison to an SM57, it does a great job on toms but not so much on snare.
Not the best sounding or most durable drum mics. They are, however, very practical. They're made of plastic, which I wish wasn't the case. It feels like all it takes is one hit from a drumstick to end the game. All you have to do now is make sure it isn't in the drummer's way. If there is a place like this.
On Tom, it's fantastic - For toms, I still prefer a good old SM57, but this is a great alternative that's simple to EQ and get a good basic sound.
The sound quality is excellent and the packaging is very small. I love this little mic; it's taken a lot of stick hits and hasn't been damaged in the least.
This mic, in comparison to an SM57 or Audix D series, isolates the drum sound far better in my opinion. The clip has a plastic feel to it. But the sound is truly outstanding, if that's a word.
