In terms of meeting that need, this was a pretty good overall purchase. There were all the items that I was searching for, from the arm mounted on the desk to the power bank, and more. I would like to take In view of the price point at which this came in, I haven't found anything I dislike about it. A strong microphone arm and several different positions in which it can be mounted and positioned are available on the microphone arm My desktop device is very small and is easily attached to my desk area where I normally record. Below are a few of my observations. The pro's - I was expecting better quality microphones. The included shock mount provided good sound isolation, and the included pop filter kept the microphone arm from being too wobbly. The microphone seems to be of good quality. The attached video demonstrates the quality of the recording. I need to attach the USB cord to the arm with some velcro wraps or zip ties. It was fortunate that I had some close at hand. There would not be many faults with this kit, and I have really enjoyed it so far! When properly set up in a studio, it sounds really good. It was not my intention to replace my Shure SM58 vocal mic with it, though. I purchased it to upgrade my streaming mic to something a bit more technologically advanced. The pop-up window I noticed when I read the description was this Clicked on the filter and bought. It would have been better to read more carefully. Neither a pop filter nor a windscreen are integrated into this microphone. would mean that both would have to be externally mounted in order to be able to not hear the Ps and your exhales through your nose. You can't see your face when you use a pop filter as a streamer. Since I had both on my SM58, I'm actually returning to where I was. For podcasting, there are a number of mics which have a pop filter and a windscreen. The SNR and vocal quality of this mic are quite good if you're recording solo in a studio without video, but if you wish to record on video, you might want to opt for a different mic, The boom arm and the pop filter are both pretty flimsy, and the boom arms have a pretty long and Known for their tendency not to stay in place, these don't usually last long. My expectation was that there would be a lot of plastic, but I was pleasantly surprised! Aside from the articulating arm and microphone, this device is built pretty well. I heard the pop-up I love the filter as well, which is exactly as it should be. I love this microphone, even the microphone shock mount! Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and feel.
